Really works! Highly recommended!
After waiting over a month, my wife and I can unconditionally state this liquid supplement from Barker Labs works great. Our 12-year old Border Collie, Alex, began suffering joint pain in his front leg shoulder area (do dogs have shoulders?) It reached a point where he no longer could jump on the bed to play. He walked more slowly and found it difficult to physically get up after laying down. His limp, more prevalent during the evening, made it obvious there was pain.As a lifelong dog owner, I know that glucosamine is effective for a dog’s joint pain. The brand I used with our previous dogs was no longer available, so I was faced with choosing from a plethora of supplements, all promising their brand was the best. Out of convenience, I first tried a shellfish-based chewable glucosamine supplement but soon learned Alex’s sensitive intestinal track quickly developed diarrhea and gas. However, he wasn’t limping anymore! Nevertheless, Alex is crate-trained and having an accident while sleeping in his crate can be quite a mess. We needed to find a supplement that wasn’t made with shellfish, which many dogs - not just mine - find difficult to digest. After much internet research, I came upon FlexComplete. The fact that it doesn’t contain shellfish or beef was what sold me. (Alex primarily eats lamb and rice, again, due to his sensitive stomach.) While it’s a bit less convenient to administer than tossing him a solid chewy supplement as if it's a treat, it’s been really easy to apply FlexComplete directly on his bowl of food. He’s 42 pounds, and receives one and a half teaspoons every morning.I’d like to add a cautionary note to those of you planning to give your dog a glucosamine supplement. There seems to be a fair amount of similar recommendations regarding these supplements to use a “loading” period where you give the dog a larger amount for the first two or three weeks. This may work for some dogs, but as my veterinary doc explained, it’s better to go slow and gentle. I started Alex on one teaspoon, never varying, until after three weeks, upped the dose to one and one half teaspoons. Alex is pain free now and acts younger than ever. I highly recommend FlexComplete and in case you’re wondering, did not receive a complementary bottle so that I’d say nice things about the product. It just works. We’ll buy it again.Update April 2015Alex's leg started hurting again so his dosage has been upped to 2 teaspoons. That did the trick - he's as mobile as ever (12+ years old, 42 pounds).Note: The seller's 20% discount for 2 bottles does not work. Guess I'll have to buy one bottle at a time.Update July 2015The seller's discount code works now. So I bought two bottles today instead of just one. Current dosage (two teaspoons) still works well for our 46 lb, 12-year-old Border Collie. No stomach upset, no diarrhea. Well-tolerated. No noticeable limping and he still hops onto the bed every night, although age is starting to take it's toll on his general energy level. (Me too!)

I'm thrilled with the results and HIGHLY RECCOMMEND this product for any canine companion.
It has been about six weeks since the purchase and utilization of Flex Complete Vegetarian liquid glucosamine for my 10yr old dog. My dog friend is beyond senior status, and while he is not painful and arthritic, he has slowed down a bit and he is an 80+ pound clutz. My dog has chronic atopic dermatitis and is one big walking allergy. Anything can set him off from various pollen to foods and food products to dust. I started giving him glucosamine chondroitin formulated for dogs a few years ago and he would regularly have gastric upset, so I switched to another and his skin had a bad flare up with pustules and hives after I started using. I switched around for quite sometime but there was always an under lying issue- usually with his skin acting up. Realized could be the shellfish causing distress so I gave up for a while. Then I found this vegetarian liquid gold and decided to give it a try. I myself am a vegan, but my companion animals are surely not, yet I always sneak in vegan/vegetarian foods, products or supplements when I can. ANYHOW, the results from this liquid Glucosamine began surfacing after about 7 days. He was more active especially with the other dog outside and he would actually engage play and romping on his own, which usually the other dog has to relentlessly beg and push him to play. He is more vibrant and perky and on walks he seems tireless. He has had no skin issues or outbreaks that I correlate to this product and no GI issues at all. He acts like a younger dog altogether and I could not be happier because he seems happier. I am delighted with this Barker Labs Vegetarian Liquid Glucosamine in every way.

Makes my dog sick
The original formula helped my dog so much!! Recently however, they changed the formula, and it is a much lighter color. It causes my dog to have diarrhea every time I give it to him. The company is lying, and saying that the formula was not changed, but clearly it was.

Go To This First for Joint Care
Excellent supplement! I had to get my older dog off the prescribed NSAID that was destroying his gut and liver. I replaced with this, and he has not limped once, like he was before he started treatment for the arthritis in his hips. So grateful for a non fish derived glucosamine supplement, as he has fish allergies. My recommendation would be to go to this FIRST if you see signs of joint pain, or better yet, just start supplementing regularly when your dog gets older. I would recommend not going to daily NSAIDS if you can avoid it. My Toby still may not make it, but he does not seem to be in pain from the arthritis on this supplement. The seller contacts you after the sale to see how you are doing with the product, and answers questions genuinely and quickly. Thank you for this supplement!🌻01/25/2016; I continue to use/repurchase this product, and my dogs show no sign of joint pain. So glad to have the fish free formula! Thanks🌺! I so wish I had done this before injuring my dog with prescription NSAIDS.

Not for sensitive stomachs
I tried this product because my dog has many food allergies to animal proteins. However, he had diarrhea for a week after a single dose and I ended up having to take him to the vet.
