Scripture Candies with KJV Bible Verses - Great tasting Candy for Gifts for Church events, Mission Conference, etc.

I have buying this candy in smaller packages and enjoyed it. This time I bought a big bag and it is not as good. It has no flavor to it. That the reason I buy it. Disappointed 😞

It could just be me, but the flavor tastes more like coffee than chocolate and cream. I am not a coffee person so they're not for me. That being said I don't think this is a bad product at all. They'd be great for any kind of church gatherings, I would imagine they'd work good to hide in Easter eggs for children if there was like a church picnic or brunch for Easter. There are several different thoughtful Bible passages that could enlighten or brighten someone's day. Other people I have shared these with really like the flavor so do not take my flavor interpretation as something definitive. I'm just sharing my experience. The candies are similar to the lifesavers creme savers. They're definitely of good quality and you can tell there was real cream used. It doesn't really taste artificial or like pure sugar. If you're looking for this kind of product, this will likely be a good safe bet for you.

Honestly, I could do without the bible verses on the wrappers, but that's what this brand is known for. As we approach Easter (just a week away as I type this), these kinds of candies can be really nice for certain gatherings and events, as well as any time of year. As for the candies themselves...oh, my, these are good. Both the chocolate and cream flavors come through quite richly, and the candies have a smooth texture to them throughout. Plus, each piece lasts quite a while unless you chew them up (which is tough because they are solid candies). I absolutely recommend these for the candies. I also had their peaches and cream variety, and those are also delicious with the same smooth texture.
