Excellent product - more flavor than other pinto beans and great price
Will definitely buy these again and again. We've been buying dried beans for many years and have tried many different companies, these just seem to have more flavor than others. You can tell they come from a quality farm and are perfect for bean salads or refried beans. The burlap bag (instead of something made of plastic) was a big plus for us as well

Excellent!
My pinto beans arrived in a clean cotton sack. There were no stones, none were split, and none shriveled. I washed and cooked them right up - the cooking smell is fragrant, and the beans softened to a beautiful creamy texture. They taste wonderful! ! I am so very pleased!, Thank you High Plains!

Finally found good beans!!
A few months ago I researched "who sells Pinto Beans that taste like beans once tasted" and the answer I found were beans from Colorado....specifically Dove Creek (ASIN: B08VF71H6D ). I bought some of those and they were GREAT!! But....a little expensive. So I tried these beans and found them to be almost as good (maybe the same) as the Dove Creek beans. I highly recommend these beans if you miss the good flavor. Also, my wife commented that these were the cleanest beans she had ever cooked, requiring very little picking through. Where have all the good Vegetables gone???

Very fresh!
The beans are very fresh this falls beans. They cook very fast. Beautiful light color not dark and tough like old beans. We used to live in CO near where these are grown happy to find them available on line.
