This Coffee Maker has checked every box for me. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and comes with a lot of great features! It includes a simple setting for 1-4 cups of coffee, which, if you are only making that amount, it brews perfectly. If you are making beyond that amount of coffee, there is the classic setting, which also makes perfect tasting coffee in greater amounts. I have yet to experiment with the robust and bold setting, so I cannot comment much on those. The included permanent coffee filter is high quality and easy to clean, and contains embedded measurement lines so you don't have to worry so much about measuring correctly with any kinds of external cups or spoons. A light built into the coffee maker highlights the measurement engravings on the coffee filter making them easy to see.If you are like me, and hate having to put your whole coffee maker in the sink just to clean out a single part of it, then you will love that this coffee maker has almost all separable parts, including the water reservoir which is easy to detach, scrub clean, and then re-attach to the back of the coffee maker.This honestly checks all the boxes for me, and I am super satisfied and impressed by the quality delivered by this product. It cost more than entry-level makers, but offers a lot of the same features of much more expensive ones. If you are looking at this product, and your gut is telling you to buy it, then I say go with it. I sure did, and I didn't regret it!

I used to think Hamilton Beach was a sub-par cheap'O lame brand that created junky appliances. WRONG! This coffee maker is fantastic, modern, sleek, and O M F G it brews a FANTASTIC pot of bold coffee. So easy to clean. Love the removable water container in the back. The heating element is freaking HOT so if you love a PIPING HOT cup of coffee, even several hours AFTER brew time, you'll love this coffee maker. Extremely happy with this purchase and WOW'ed by the build and quality. Love the time setting so I can crawl out of bed at 5am and BAM my hot AF coffee is ready. MAKES ME SO HAPPY. Thanks HB!!! You knocked this one out of the park. BRAVO!

UPDATE! LIKELY USER ERROR.I thought it was only fair I come back & update this review. I'll leave my previous review below so anyone else with the issues can reference & hopefully correct. We were experiencing the exact same issues as many other reviewers. Couldn't find any fix/solution anywhere. Checked online. Checked youtube. Nothing. Maker was shutting off around 12 cups, leaving 2 cups in the water resevoir. The warmer tray was also shutting off in a very short time. By the second cup of coffee it was already off & getting cold. I can't say for sure but I think I had somehow activated the "timed brew" setting. The buttons on this coffee maker are not really buttons but are just like your cell phone. Touch sensitive. They are very sensitive and are close together so it's easy to mistakenly hit one. We do not use the pre program brew feature so it never occurred to me. SO HERE'S HOW I FIXED IT:1. Unplug it for about 15 minutes.2. Carefully reprogram the time of day.3. Program your flavor ( classic, bold, etc.)4. Set the heat pad temperature ( low, medium or high) easy.5. Lastly, set the "how long to stay warm" time. ( Up to 4 hours just hold the button it jumps in 10 min increments)THAT'S IT! TAKE CARE NOT TO ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE BUTTONS. ITS SO EASY TO DO.We prepare our coffee maker before we go to bed. When I wake up I simply touch the power button and it brews the entire 14 cups and keeps the coffee hot. I have our warmer set to 4 hours because I get up so much earlier than everyone else. I have the heat pad set to high. I checked the coffee temperature after 1.5 hours & it was 175°.I hope this helps someone out & you don't throw out your coffee maker like I almost did.I only rated this 4 stars because it's so persnickety. Definitely a learning curve involved. I do love it. Great water resevoir. Great coffee basket. Keeps coffee hot up to 4 hours. Brews 14 cups. No pouring water under cabinets( reservoir lifts off only requires 1 inch of lift)PREVIOUS REVIEW.Beware! If you ignore this CONSISTENT WARNING you'll be throwing this in the trash. If you're looking for a defective coffee maker, you've found it. I would recommend you to ask yourself " how much time do we have to spend trying to contact customer service". This is a defective piece of junk. It will work just long enough to get you past the warranty period. HOW DOES AMAZON MANAGE TO HIDE THESE HORRIBLE NEGATIVE REVIEWS?

I owned this coffee maker for three months. It worked fine. Brewed nice hot coffee and stayed warm. Then it stopped brewing hot anything. The plate would get warm and that was all. The display went blank and now it doesn't do anything but take up cabinet space.

I was hesitant to write the review after just one week of use, but it’s been consistently producing great coffee each morning and I’m thrilled I bought it! The touch screen is very easy to use, there are 4 choices of brew to choose from, though we’ve only tried bold and robust so far. I love the alarm and keep warm features. You can set it to keep the pot warm for up to 4 hours and at 3 different settings: low medium or high (medium keeps it plenty warm). It’s a nice looking coffee maker and the best part for me is that it makes the exact amount of water poured in the reservoir (love that it is separate from machine for easy cleaning). Other coffee makers I’ve tried ended up with sometimes 1-2 cups less than what water was input. The lighted filter makes it easy to see how much coffee is in the filter (helps if you lose track of counting like I do). It was very important I have a 14 cup coffee maker and in full transparency I have only made between 8-10 cups, but I have faith, based on my experience this week, that it will continue making strong, hot coffee no matter the amount.

This coffee pot is so hard to adjust the time and delayed brewing. It goes really fast and hard to do small steps in changing the times. It does however not drip when you pour and you can set a 4 hour heat for the pot but again hard to adjust and you have to reset it every time as it reverts back to 2 hours. It did not even come with the filter holder like every other coffee pot I have bought in the past. It is extra. It is a full 14 cup pot with the removeable water holder but it is difficult too to get on correctly. Sorry I got it but too expensive to not use it.
