Good light bulb extenders
These light bulb extenders work exactly as expected.

Best invention!
I needed to install socket fans to ceiling outlets and needed extra space from the ceiling and these were exactly what I needed!

Good product.
Worked great for turning a bathroom heater fan light combo into a down light so I could screw in a multi panel LED unit that they sell on here for eight bucks. really brightens the bathroom.

They work great, except you can't put too heavy of weight on them
These work great as intended. The only problem is that I used them in a recessed light and attached a bigger LED light that has several light blades on it. I also used one for attaching a light socket ceiling fan. These are not very heavy items, but they were heavy enough that when I tried to bend or curve them using the flexible extension, then they wouldn't hold in place very well.Again, I realize it's mostly because of the weight of the items I connected and I think it would work well for a regular lightbulb, but I would've preferred they be a little stiffer to control how I wanted to bend it.

Used these in my garage
The lights in my garage are 3 bulb fixtures, so I used these to make the horizontal sockets vertical. Then I put high intensity LED 5000 lumen bulbs in them to increase the light. Worked pretty good! Cheaper than other solutions, not as pretty. But it's a garage, light is more important than pretty lights.

some extensions quit working
I used this extension on a stairway light and was pleased with it. A few months later the light quit. I found that if I replaced the extension with another one, that the light was fine. Luckily, I had more than one extension.

Looks well made and it is as advertised
Only one complaint, the outer steel braid is not stiff enough. If you have any weight on it, it will bend down. A simple string solved the problem for me.

Doubles Number of Bulbs
Had a expensive ceiling fixture that was dim for the room. The room for larger bulbs was very small. By adding these flexible, and relatively rigid bulb extenders, I was able to go from a 60 to 200w LED. Since there were 2 bulbs the fixture went from 120W to 400W LED equivalent.... what a difference! I ultimately added two 1 - 2 bulb splitters (for four bulbs) and went to 500W LED equivalent. Avoided having to replace a $$$ fixture and it took less than 15 minutes to do.
