AutoCAD Tutor for Engineering Graphics: 2013 and Beyond (with CAD Connect Web Site Printed Access Card) (Autodesk 2013 Now Available!)

This is a good tutorial book for learning AutoCAD basics. The step-by-step instructions can be easy to follow, but some drawings are missing dimensions, you can, however, use other points to find some of them. On the more complicated parts, some of the instructions are also unclear, but with a little trial and error this helps you learn different techniques to get the geometry done. Over-all, it is a good starter book.

Great book for self study. This book provides good hands on examples and drawings for you draw at the end of each chapter. I bought this as a supplement to the book that was required for the CAD class that I am taking - Harnessing AutoCAD 2013 and beyond. That book does not have any drawing for you to practice or examples for you to follow.

You pay about $8 extra for the Kindle edition, yet the access to the website with all the extras and exercises and updates is not included. They have a printed card in the back of the paperback edition that has an access CODE to be able to use the website. I even called the publishers to see if I was missing something and perhaps there was a way to get the Access Code that I was missing. They were USELESS! Thick and dumb!! And, no, you don't get the Access Code unless you purchase a "special" bundle directly from the publisher (um.....this IS sold by the publisher--but through Amazon!!) But nope. You don't get an access code. So don't pay extra to get screwed.

Good for use as a Volume 2 to AutoCAD: A Problem-Solving Approach: 2013 by Sham Tickoo.Working both of these books cover to cover will make you practically a grand guru of Autocad 2013.

It is an excellent book. I can learn step by step all about this software.It is very easy to read and comprehensive.I recommend this book.
