This is a very useful and handy addition to my modelling tool kit. Supplements the Dremel drills very well and can be easily taken to club meets. Rechargeable, and lasts long enough. Has a little torch built in to the end to light the subject. 4 speeds, though max isn't extremely fast. Also does reverse. Nice and simple display... Light weight and comfortable to hold and use. The case is really nice too and a great bonus. Made of aluminium and spring loaded so it pops out. 8 different sized drill bits included. I did break one, which is inevitable at this size, so hoping finding replacements is easy. The drill bits are well made and have a handy size on them to make it easy to find the one you want. There is a charging cable. It is plugged into the drill, directly. Would have been better if it plugged into the case and the drill charged when in the case, as that is where it lives. Highly recommended....

Was an Xmas gift to my husband, he is very pleased with it, has a very controllable slow speed, uses the smallest drill often in his model making. Just wish I could have purchased a drill stand separate for this model for him, but unfortunately it only comes with another model kit.

This drill is ok for small holes and delicate work. It doesn’t have much torque so you have to work from small to bigger holes with lots of drill bit changes. Downside: seems you can only buy replacement bits in sets and only from the manufacturer. Overall a useful tool. Regards value for money. It’s not cheap at £50, but it’s well made and nice to use.

Appeared a very nice good quality item but as the chuck would not turn under power in either direction it was useless as a drill so I have returned it for a refund. Possibly a one off and just my bad luck but I will not try again just in case.

Brilliant!!! I wish I had one of these years ago. As a model maker this is the perfect tool for effortlessly making precision small holes. It is small, lightweight, has a solid feel, easy to change drill bits, built in light, USB rechargeable, and variable speed. It comes in a solid metal case and the drill bits are firmly held in place with small magnets. Although the price may seem high, to me, it is certainly good value.

after reading previous reviews I was not sure, decided to try it if no good return for refund, as it turned no problems, battery was flat, put on charge and tested with 0.5mm drill on 3d model I am building and once I had a dimple to seat the bit tip into (yes these smaller bits do wobble a bit at the tip) worked as described (used the slowest speed). I would recommend this for modelers and PCB building. As a PS, if you cant find the charging lead look into the other end of the outer box, there is a compartment under the flap.

So, I got one from my friend just to try it. I am model maker (trains) and drill a lot in plastic. Now...I have two Proxxon rotary tools which are fantastic but both have the same problem...they are simply too fast. As a minimum revolution is about 5k/min they are simply melt the plastic. I was then very pleased to hear about this brand and their low rev mini drills. My friend's drill had a bit of a wobble in a chuck and ultimately in a drill itself. It wasn't even that. Every 2 seconds drill sort of started vibrate showing visible side play. I was reluctant to use it for precise drilling and was wonder for a weeks should I but it or not. I finally gave it a go and bought it on Friday, got it yesterday (29th of June) tried it and...unfortunately the whole chuck has got a lot of side play. Drill wobbles makeing it impossible to drill anything precise. It is rather destined to do precise drilling at low speed. I am sending it back which is a massive shame as it looks very well buikd, also fact that Arrowmax seems to be the only manufacturer making mini stand for their drill would make this product fantastic addition to my tools... Unfortunately the whole concept collapsed and I have to think now of something else. It seems that quality controll here is questionable. Shame, shame, shame.

Brilliant little tool. Great jewellery. And small engineering projects. Battery lasts well.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting very much but was desperate to get my products out the door so I invested in The Arrowmax. I invested in this tool because my old jewelry drill couldn’t penetrate mother of pearl easily. I found myself spending hours just to drill a handful of mother of pearl discs and pearl beads. I love that it comes in a case where everything is contained neatly. It holds a charge pretty well, meaning I don’t run out of juice in the middle of drilling. The four speeds are precisely what a jewelry maker needs for drilling beads of various density. I definitely recommend this product for people who do crafts or make jewelry. It’s quickly become an invaluable tool and a tremendous time saver. It’s a great value for the money.

This is an absolutely marvellous little drill! Very compact, comfortable to hold, it is powerful and easy to operate. It has a good quality chuck. Have only had this a short time, so I cannot comment , yet, on how well it holds its charge...but in every other respect, it represents very good value for money and does the job well. Drills supplied are all sharp and accurate sizing. Although it might struggle to drill through hardened steel (and I would not expect it to do that!) this tool will easily drill through solder and circuit boards.
