Mag-Lite 6D Cell Size - Black Torch

The torch that I received is great . It is a very good product. However, I purchased a 37cm 4 cell Blister pack Maglite but received a 25cm 2 cell high intensity beam Maglight. Never mind, Amazon Customer Services were excellent in resolving this issue. And I am very happy with the result!

Wow! What a torch. After having one of these I could never go to back to another torch. Apart from being really bright, and the range is amazing, I feel totally safe as a lone women going out at night. I bought the the one that takes 4D cells, although this makes this a very heavy torch, it also makes it a very useful truncheon if (God forbid) it was required. My daughter is buying me a battery charger and 4D cell rechargable batteries, which will certainly help to keep the battery cost down. If you want a tough, good quality torch thats value for money and has a spare bulb in the cap and a 10 year warranty, then you can't go wrong in my opinion!

I have had a 2D cell Maglite for 35 years. It still looks good and works well, it has the old type bulb which I can't recall ever having to replace. I saw this 5D cell at a bargain price and bought it to keep in my car and for camping trips. It is great. Same quality as my old torch. It has a different bulb and is brighter than my original, I think that is probably down to the larger battery capacity and different bulb. As it is larger there is a substantial weight difference, but ideal for my needs, Like the red colour, has a fire brigade look about it.

In my opinion, these torches are the best you can buy. We have one in the house, and one in the car.They are pretty huge (which I love - you can't easily misplace it!), really solid and very bright. Batteries last reasonably well and, if absolutely necessary, they make great batons to chase intruders with.It is obvious why they are so popular with police and security firms.Buy two and you'll never need another torch.

bought this cause i love good classic flashlights like maglites my grandad died of cancer few yers back he left me a maglite it is old and has a good few war scars instead of making it worse i decided to buy this keep in mind this aint ye normal LED flashlight its pretty heavy for a flashlight i like to put it on my Shoulder when using it great beam for close range and long range since u can adjust it worth the price great for a backup flashlight these things are like tanks to normal flashlights thats why i like them u bet yo ass if u got a maglite u be lighting up places these things are waterproof fire proof great that u get a spare bulb with it i carry mine on my belt with a viper maglite holder when ur lightweight led flashlight fails this is the bad boy u want to cover ye ass love the beam maglites never let u down even with all this high tec led flashlights etc i would rather have my good olld maglite to save the day works good as new after all the years of abuse aswell like i said like a tank a must have for me thanks

Maglite S4d015 4d Cell Flashlight Boxed BlackMaglite 4D torch......great torch. ideal for dog walkers who need not only a good light but also something heavy........Ive been attacked before by loose dogs and feel far happier when carrying this at night.... Light is superb and bright enough for any use with along powerful spot beam and a nice wide general illumination setting. Bit cold in the winter but wouldnt be without mine. Lot cheaper than LED but unless you really need the extra power it cant be faulted.

Do not buy after month the rubber button fell off the torch. A disappointment as my other torch lasted 30 years!!!DO NOT BUY
