Better than the Sena 20s
Bought these as a replacement for the Sena 20s as they kept failing due to water ingress, here in the uk it gets a bit damp at times.Well these were fairly easy to set up but then again I’m a bit of a techie geek.Fitting to the helmet was simple and the wiring was easy to hide within the padding of the helmet.Sound quality when using the sat-nav, phone or radio is impressive, people can’t believe I’m riding a bike as the quality is so good. These perform better than the Sena 20s in my opinion and are indeed waterproof. Battery life using the radio and phone is around 8-10 hours continuous use in my experience.I would recommend these to any biker contemplating getting an intercom system

Impressive quality kit
Really impressed with the unit, very easy to set up, bags of info on YouTube on how to use, the only real issue i’m Having is with the voice control but that could just be a newness thing (me not fully understanding how to fine tune the set up).Even with ear plugs in, the volume is perfect, amazing sound too. Making a phone call, even with the visor up, was clear on the other end of the line. Not used on tour yet (four of us have these units) so cannot comment on connectivity etc.

Nice identical pair!
Bought this split between my friend and I, cheaper than buying two singles. Everything comes with 2 of each so worked out perfectly. Come see in a nice box, fairly easy to install, in all reality it is easy, it just depends on your helmet!Radio isn’t always as clear, but Bluetooth for music is great. Good clear voice even at high speeds, range isn’t huge though between riders. Easily automatically connects once you’ve been together before.Buttons a little fiddly in gloves and take some getting used to, all the commands too is a bit of a headache to remember, but worth it, it can do a lot!

Don't even bother.
So far so terrible.I've owned this pair of Cardo Scala PackTalks for about a week now and the user-experience is especially titillating - if you like frustration and nonsensical issues.Used alone, without connection to the Cardo Connect 'app', the units appear to work reasonably well - decent volume and quality of music playback, and the ability to make a phone call. The inability to actually turn the unit OFF is almost acceptable in this high tech day and age, nothing can be perfect can it Cardo....However - the success rate of the App connecting to the unit, simply finding the unit whilst the unit is currently perfectly well connected via bluetooth is well under 5%. Without the App it's not possible (due to the hideously over-complicated internal menu system) to adjust settings like VOX sensitivity, or unit-to-unit intercom connections. The less said about everything else in the App the better.....Further - once you actually try to use the units as a pair (only possible because they were already connected on delivery), then the quality is horrendous and unreliable, and the BT source (music/GPS etc) volume reduces by half (for no apparent reason whatsoever).Have ordered a 2nd hand G4 (current G4 works perfectly in all scenarios), and fully expect the 10+ year old technology to work better for pillion to pillion along with the occasional 4 person connection than this technological marvel. In the plus column..... the intercom quality was better than the pair of G9Xs we tried last month. (themselves far worse than the G4)

Very good but slightly confusing to a newbie
These wee things are really great. We hadn't used headsets before but from a safety and rider enjoyment perspective they are fantastic. Pros: Waterproof, lots of features, connect to GPS and mobile phone at the same time, can have an open ended conversation for hours if you want. Has an App which assists with some functions. Cons: Very tricky to get setup to work how you want but Duo pack is already paired which helps. Have had a few issues with button functions as they have a deep menu system which is controlled through the roller on the side of the unit but there isn't an easy way to understand which menu system you are in and the written manual is not very intuitive. Email support have been very helpful with my questions though (allow 48hrs to get back to you).
