Easy setup, strong transmission
I used it to connect the Internet to another building about 150' away. It was pretty much plug and play, and it was powerful enough to go through a few walls, so I didn't need to go to the effort of mounting it outside. It's got very nice network performance graphing, although to make that convenient you have to change the address of the management interface to that of your LAN. Instructions for doing that are included (advanced configuration). One thing I noticed is that the LAN interface is running at only 100 MB even though the unit is rated for gigabit speed. To get it to run the connections at full gigabit speed, you need to run 2 cables to and from it - run only power to it from the supplied POE injectors, and add a 2nd gigabit wired connection to a gigabit connection on your LAN. Alternatively you can replace the supplied 100 MB POE injectors with gigabit capable POE injectors to achieve gigabit speed with a single Ethernet cable.Overall it a good product and a good value.

ULNA stated never to purchase OPEN BOXES “LIKE NEW” electronics from AMAZON.
09/08/2025Hello;This is not an indictment on the DEVICE. But purchasing OPEN BOX ELECTRONICS.I purchased this device as open box. Mounting hardware was missing but was able to assemble and test.THIS DEVICE lights up connects then fails after 15-30 Minutes. Range was Line Of Site 300 Feet!!I spent numerous time with ULNA by EMAIL and they determined it should not have been placed for sale because AMAZON has no Technical facilities to “TEST” these devices.ULNA stated never to purchase OPEN BOXES “LIKE NEW” electronics from AMAZON. So I have been disappointed and have to drive 60 miles to a UPS STORE TO RETURN to AMAZON for REFUND.DO NOT SELL THIS DEVICE but return to ULNA as it is a BRICK!J. HorilUPDATE!Amazon immediately REFUNDED the Purchase and I purchased another that is arriving Friday. I have to say this was very much a remedy and when this device was connected it delivered better speed than a 1GBit Fiber with top end media converters. So forget Fiber when this product is available. It is very easy to setup and was 12% faster than FIBER.I want to thank AMAZON for their rapid response but remain to never purchase OPEN BOX electronics again especially for critical applications.UPDATE second fast delivery came and the Master of the 2 in the link has / had a missing A-B selector switch out of the BOX NO LINK! Amazon sent another set prior to return and I set it UP and it is working now flawlessly! Thanks Amazon! Also I have several other friends with these and they had no problem and one guy is linking @ 1.2 miles with 300 MBit bandwidth!!! These are the deal of the day! Be sure you get the CPE609P and not the CPE-609. Huge difference. Even very cheap. The CPE-609P has two 1000Mbit PORTS. The CPE-609 has 1 1000 MBit port and one 100 MBit port and range and band width of the CPE-609 sucks. Range is also bad regarding CPE-609.

Strong signal through walls over long distance.
Easy install. Works flawlessly through two walls at a distance of about 500 feet. Would buy again.

Easy to configure and solid so far.
I need to get my network extended from my house to my metal outbuilding which is only 15 feet away.I didn't want a solution that required software, blue tooth or any other failure point. These are made to go outside, but given the short distance I was using, I decided to try them both mounted indoors. I put one in the attic of my house and the other mounted about 2 feet inside my metal building wall. I had to play with the aiming of each quite a bit to maximize the throughput. The result is great. I was kind of surprised how well it worked. This system is dead simple to setup and has worked flawlessly since I installed it. My office is in the metal building and I use the network every day. I'm super happy with this product.

Surprisingly fast.
I needed an INDOOR wireless bridge where Wifi doesn't work and I can't run ethernet cable.I chose this unit largely because it had good reviews, it claims gigabit speed, and it's more esthetic than others and wouldn't look weird on a bookshelf in my house.I needed it to punch through a noisy electronic environment over a very short run, about 50 feet apart. Consequently it was easy to aim and set up. It did a fine job blasting through the noise and gave me ~500 Mbps throughput on speedtest. I have no doubt it could do the same over much longer distances, maybe even the 3 miles it claims.I knocked off one star for occasional TCP/IP instability, but I'm not entirely sure it was the product's fault.

Solid Wifi <--> Ethernet Bridge, Zero Configuration Needed
A bit about my use case. I have wired ethernet systems in two locations that really need a Cat5 cable between the networks. Since it's quite difficult to run Cat5 between these locations, my options are powerline ethernet adapters or some kind of ptp wireless solution. For the last few years, I've tried various powerline ethernet adapters, the best of the best can only manage about 5MB/s (40Mb/s). I'd also began experiencing overheated powerline adapters during sustained data transfers. For $200, I thought I'd give this Wifi bridge a try. Right away, I saw sustained speeds of over 100Mb/s, and peak speeds of nearly 4x what I could get with powerline ethernet adapters. Now, granted 100Mb is barely 1/10th the advertised speed of this kit, it's not bad. For that it gets 5 stars. Also, I should note that this kit is being used INDOORS. The product description and user manual state that it DOES NOT work through walls, but that's exactly how I'm using it, to bridge two wired ethernet networks through walls, wirelessly. I also appreciate that they come pre-configured to operate correctly with ZERO configuration. No web wizards or ridiculous phone apps required for configuration (although once they're up and running, you can access the web interface on 192.168.254.108 for the primary and .208 for the secondary). Just plug them in and get back to work. I spent more time digging for an ethernet cable than it took me to setup the pair and bridge the networks.
