My Controllers Are Now Basically Part of My Body
Let me just say — these grips are the reason I haven’t yeeted my Quest controllers through the TV during an intense lightsaber duel. Again. The grip is so comfortable, I’m convinced they were modeled after a Viking warrior’s handshake — firm, reassuring, and slightly sweaty (but not because of the material — that’s just me, okay?). They hug your hands tighter than your mom did after you finally moved out.But the real magic is that battery door. Do you know how many hours of my life I’ve lost prying open controller backs like some kind of medieval puzzle box? Now I just flip, swap, and I’m back in the game before my enemies even finish taunting me.Also, the knuckle straps are solid. Adjustable, comfy, and tight enough to keep the controller in your hand even when you rage quit Beat Saber. Trust me. Tested that.Long story short: I don’t know what kind of wizardry AMVR is using, but these covers have officially leveled me up from "VR rookie" to "cybernetic ninja monk." Buy them. Your hands — and your drywall — will thank you.

Just like Kiwi's Quest 2 grips. Pricey, but solid.
These were some of the first grips out for the Q3. Having used them for a few weeks, I can say they're great so far. I find them similar to the Kiwi grips I had for the Q2, which were so good that I couldn't bear using the naked Q3 controllers for long. They don't affect tracking at all -- they have holes where needed for the IR LEDS.The silicone knuckle straps feel sturdy and are adjustable via the velcro (it looks like you could easily fit anywhere from a child's hand to the larges hands in there). In general, these feel well-made. The silicone itself has a subtle grippy pattern -- just enough to prevent them from getting slippery while still feeling smooth and being easily cleanable. (Personally, I think kiwi and amvr should start putting this pattern on their silicone facial interfaces as well -- it might help with face sweat). The mounting mechanism is clever -- you get a separate rigid black plastic piece for each controller to replace the original battery slide cover, which functions both as a way to hold the silicone battery door closed and a way to hold the silicone grip on securely. The silicone grips have holes for the plastic pins on these rigid parts, so they don't slip around (as the rigid part is snapped to the battery compartment). They also include a ribbon to help remove the batteries (I have no idea why these aren't standard in the controllers themselves as removing the batteries normally is a challenge!). The installation was therefore a 2-step process that required removing the batteries, but still only took a few minutes at most. Overall, they're definutely better than the ones Meta sells, even though they're a little pricey for two pieces of silicone and two pieces of plastic.Definitely a must-have for active games, or any time you want to be able to open your hand without dropping your controller.

Work exactly as advertised
My son kept slinging his controllers while playing gorilla tag. These took care of that issue really well. Easy to put on, comfortable and slip resistant as advertised.

Excellent but removing batteries could be easier; miss my leather straps
A main reason I got these was that the previous solution with a leather strap was comfortable but it was nearly impossible to remove the door to replace the batteries in my controllers each 7 to 10 days. So these promise a handy door to remove/reinsert batteries as often as needed. Tug on the plastic battery dislodging "plastic tab" that goes under the battery (a great idea in theory), but for some reason, the battery doesn't want to budge--no matter how hard I try to pull it out. The problem has an easy solution but it's a little disappointing to have to get out a small flathead screwdriver to dislodge the battery. Even with this wrinkle, it's 100x easier to get out the batteries than it was with my nice comfortable leather strap battery doors.Speaking of those old ones, I really liked the leather straps better than these silicone ones. I use my Quest 3 mainly for exercising with the Supernatural app. So they get sweaty, unlike the leather ones.I do love the very comfortable silicone material for gripping the body of the controller, but just not as much of a fan regarding silicone straps. I guess it would be a little weird to have a silicon material for the controller body, but leather for the straps. Both issues are relatively minor, but they do reduce the usability somewhat. All in all, I gave these a 4. If the batteries would dislodge more easily, I could see it in my heart to give a 5. And to be fair, it's not their fault that the batteries are hard to dislodge. But having two (perhaps stronger) plastic tabs might have helped.

A great little set of controller grips
Well-designed and well-thought out grips. Not quite index quality, but I have no problems going from the Knuckles to these. They fit the controllers like a glove, prevent bumps and casual wear and tear, while providing a much nicer grip for the controllers. The extra girth is especially appreciated for those with a little larger hands, it simply makes the controller feel more "solid" in your hand. Battery compartments are still accessible and it tracks well. The only downside I can think of is that the strap can cause a bit of skin irritation over longer sessions, but I also know that I have sensitive skin and it may just be me. Either way, this one is a keeper.

Great VR Upgrade
Really good, simple, easy, and comfortable upgrade. Easy to install and remove batteries and the controllers don't fly off.
