Awesome retrofit on a hunter fan
I removed the lamp sockets from a hunter fan that i had maxed out with 75w equivalent GE led bulbs. This kit delivers all the brights i need and more! Our normal setting is dimmed down about 20 percent, and i would use full bright if i lost something on the floor. 5 stars. It comes with holes for alternative mounting options (in addition to 3 magnet barrels), but not hardware to use it. No big deal, just know that you might need some 8-32 screws, a grommet, or whatnot for custom installs.

It works and has adjustable "warmth" settings but doesn't put out much light. It seemed more like a night light to us. Unfortunately we had to return it.

Light lasted 8 Months ,the " 2 year warranty" useless since there is no one to contact ....
After 8 months the light started to flicker and within a few hours the light went to a permanant slight glow mode . Amazon only allows returns for the first 30 days . The seller claims there is a 2 year warrany available but contacting the seller to wnforce this warranty has been impossible so far.

Relatively easy retrofit for my patio light
Bought to replace the fluorescent guts in a patio light. The fixture was perfect, but the ballast and bulbs were bad. The magnetic mount made the installation even easier.
