will this clean off stazon ink? (I don't like the smell of stazon cleaner)

Depends on what the stamp is made from. Also you have to clean the ink off immediately after using it. If you stamp an image multiple times the chances of it coming off go down. But even if your stamp stains it wont ruin it just clean it as best as you can and keep on stamping!

What is the dauber top made of? Some comments have said it is sponge?? But my old one is like a felt type fabric.

It’s made of felt, I believe. Definitely not a sponge. Very durable, I’ve never had mine tear.
