I really like this marmalade but my local supermarkets have stopped selling it. Amazon to the rescue.It came in a shrink wrapped 6 pack with a card base so I had no issues with breakages.The marmalade is a little unusual, its texture is not at all like jelly - more of a curd consistency and as a result is easy to spread smoothly with no globs of quiver. It tastes quite bitter sweet and I think it has a fairly easy to identify orange taste. It suits me because I love the taste of marmalade but dislike the consistency of most and I find peel unpalatable.This was a little more expensive than supermarket stock but cheaper than driving to larger stores in the hope there is some in stock

The secret to the fantastic quality of this Tiptree product is on the label listing the ingredients just Sugar and Seville oranges - nothing else. As one other reviewer said second only to the marmalade I usually make around the beginning of the year, which has the self same ingredients in a equal proportion (i.e less sugar) plus 1/2 pint whiskey.

This is Tiptree Tawny Marmalade. It is simply the best thing you can spread on toast. £3.50 is a lot to pay for a jar of marmalade but a small price for such amazing stuff. I'm sure Paddington would agree.Even more importantly, when I bought six jars from this supplier I got six jars, not four jars, some glass and a messy mass of glass and marmalade. This is an improvement on what I have received in the past. Each jar was individually wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and then cushioned with shredded paper in a nice strong box.And it arrived two days after I ordered it on free delivery.So on that basis, five stars.

The only pithless marmalade with good flavour. This is important for those who cannot digest pith. U it on toast and in cooking.

It is difficult obtain this product except I find by going on line. Sadly it cannot often be obtained by the larger chains. Thus this is my purchasing source.

I was very disappointed, I was sent the wrong size marmalade and rely on it for my B&B business
