We tried nine different well-reviewed flameless candles and this softFlame was the best by far. It was the brightest, the flame size and shape was realistic, , the flame/light color was nice, the remote is sturdy and good-looking, they have 2-4-6-8-12 hour options, the wax is real was, and... we got 188 hours of light, on the high setting, in 4-hour chunks (four cycles per day until they ran out). It's not the battery life advertised, but it's still stellar, plus we haven't tested on low. The motion on the 3D flame is also pretty good -- some 3D flames dance too wildly to look realistic. All the other candles we tested were too dim, were purple or bluish tinted, had large 3D flames, or lasted as little a 30 hours (AA batteries, not the bigger C batteries). The softFlame candles check every box, and yet they less than half the price of many of the alternatives.

They light is bright, they look great in day or night. I rarely turn them off.

Used 30 of these, in 3 different sizes, for my daughter’s wedding. They are a little temperamental, but an instruction sheet is included to troubleshoot. 4 of the 30 had to be replaced because the lights in them weren’t working. I also had several battery covers that wouldn’t stay on (I switched them to the defective candles, so I didn’t have to return more). Other than that they looked nice, and were great if you want candles but aren’t allowed to have flames.

Glad to have purchased this candle. I am a flameless candle fanatic and have over 15 candles on timers in my home. This proved to be better than I expected for the price. The colors are bright and the remote is very clear to understand. I am really pleased.

The media could not be loaded.  These are beautiful candles at an unbelievable price. The leading well-known brand is three times as expensive at this size, so I've been putting off buying them for my two large candle stands (in the video) When I saw these at this price, I picked up one right away, and then immediately bought a second based on my very positive opinion of the first one.They're lightweight with a wax finish, and feel like real candles in terms of texture. The "flame" is actually completely round, unlike the leading brand, which are flat. The flames have an internal flicker effect that is projected on to it from the inside, and they sway back and forth. I prefer it to be random, like a real flame. One of the candles behaves that way, but the other pretty much just goes back and forth at a regular cadence. It's only a minor niggle for me though. I tried to capture the difference in the video.It comes with a remote control to adjust brightness, flicker speed (the internal flickering light effect, not the wiggle speed), and a selection of timers in 2 hour increments. You can choose the body to be illuminated, as in my video, however that function is toggled by a switch on the bottom, and can't be controlled on the remote control. In my case, I found that one remote control can control both candles individually, as long as the remote is within about 8 inches of the candle.I like these so much, that I actually picked up 3rd one for a different room. They're pretty awesome.. and at this price, a no-brainer. Recommended!

I am really torn about this beautiful candle. The first order I put in arrived and I inserted two C batteries and it started working right away. The actual flame movement and the light fluctuations is really like real and the candle itself is made of wax. Looking at it from a distance it is really hard for someone to know that it is not a real candle right away. That was very exciting and I thought what a great product. However, after checking out the remote which feels really cheap, it only worked until I turned off the candle with the remote and the remote failed for good. No matter what I did, including replacing the battery, would not make it work. So, yes you can turn on the candle from the button underneath but cannot control the brightness, flame type and the timer since remote was dead. So, I exchanged it through Amazon and the replacement works beautifully. We loved it so much (even though the remote is still very low quality), we went ordered a bigger size of the same candle for our house.Candle itself is totally worth it but be prepared to be disappointed with the remote

Wrongly assumed form the picture that this was a set, not one candle. Way way too much for one candle. Never tried it, just returned it right away.

Bought this to add to my lantern in the powder room. Gives off a really nice light

So real like!! The best one I’ve seen yet !! Live the timer and remote!! Great buy!
