Good bulb but throws a lot of shadow
I have these in some track lighting illuminating my bookshelves. These bulbs work well in my light fixtures and were a good price. They do put out a warm light, but the light is more harsh than the bulbs that were previously in the fixture, which were Feit Electric 35W Frosted. I decided to try these because they were significantly cheaper than the Feit Frosteds, but the light is definitely different even though the watts are the same.If you're looking for a warm light that's still pretty bright, these would probably work. However, if you're looking for a more subtle glow that doesn't throw much shadow, you might want to go with the frosted bulbs instead.

Dimmable all the way to Zero and NO Flickering!!
Great LED replacements! I had been wanting to switch my track lights to LED's for some time but was concerned of the cost and of the potential for "flickering". Well, the prices have dropped and the technology has improved so I can highly recommend these for your room! These LED's work exactly as I had hoped! The lamps have a "spot-flood" pattern for a bright center for highlighting art or anything but also spreads out the light (so it is not a true "spot"), the color is a warm white as opposed to the super-white LED's. The packaging rates them at 470 lumens and 3000K color rating. I installed a new Leviton dimmer Leviton 6674-P0W SureSlide Universal 150-Watt LED and CFL/600-Watt Incandescent Dimmer, White, 1 Pack that works perfectly with the new King Sha LED track light heads KING SHA White GU10 Line Voltage Track Lighting Head (BULB NOT INCLUDED)compatible H type 3-wire single circuit track systems and these 6W LED bulbs. Absolutely no flickering (at least for now, everything is still brand new), no "hum", buzzing or electrical interference and I can dim the lights all the way down to "zero"! The Leviton dimmer is a replacement for an older slider that powered my 50W Halogen lamps that I replaced as well with new fixtures and LED bulbs. As I said, initially I do not have any issues with flickering or fading to "zero" on my installation. .

Great Halogen Replacements
Given what I find at the hardware and/or big box store near me, I had no idea that I could replace halogen bulbs in my track light with an LED bulb. Duh! Well, I can only buy what I see on the shelf--except that, searching for a replacement bulb of this type on Amazon, I found that I could replace my halogen bulbs (they get hot!!) with LEDs. For some reason, this simple fact made me very happy!I was still not positive that the switch would work, but I figured it was a low-risk experiment. Not a problem at all. I got the same warm light that I wanted, but now I have cool-burning LED bulbs. These are similarly priced to the old halogens--I left one of the old halogens in the fixture, since I couldn't get it out (it will have to wait for someone taller!), but unless you know, you can't tell that there is one old bulb along with the six new ones.I am very, very pleased.

Brighter, Whiter and Covers a greater Area
What an amazing difference between these LED bulbs and the Halogen bulbs they replaced. These bulbs have a much brighter, whiter light the covers a larger area too. The added bonus will be the energy savings that will come from using the LED bulbs. The only real question is; how long will they last?. I'm ordering some extras just to have on hand. The track lighting I have uses seven bulbs, so no telling when I'll need some spares.

Light Color Too White/Blue over 3000K
The bulbs function, do not get hot, and dim pretty nicely even using old style voltage reducing dimmers. However, the color of the light is much higher than 3000 and is quite white for a 'warm white'. It's not super harsh, but if you are looking for the warm color yellow-tinted color of halogen bulbs this is the wrong bulb. The light color stays the same no matter the dim level.I will probably return these.

Best LED's I've tried
These are some of the very best 120 volt, dimmable LED's I've tried. They do not flicker at all, even on my older Lutron dimmers. The color temp is pretty good. Closer to halogen than older tungsten lighting...more white than yellow. Over all, still pretty pleasant. These are the Warm White variety, but I would have preferred just slightly more yellow...or lower color temp number, but it's a minor complaint. Of course, LED's do not warm-up as you dim them like tungsten and even (to a lessor extent) halogen lamps do. They stay the very same color. I miss the warmer color temps. The focus is a bit narrow compared to the older halogen 50 watt lamps they are replacing. It's possible that you will need more of them to cover the same area. A little closer to a spot than the halogens I'm replacing...but still a flood.Overall, I'm still pretty happy with them however. Not perfect, but getting pretty close.

An excellent replacement bulb
I purchased these to replace the old style bulb which produced a lot of heat and probably used quite a bit of electricity. They swapped out with the old bulbs easily and actually seem brighter even though they are the same lumens. They arrived on time and properly packaged. I will definitely buy them again.

Nice Replacement for Halogen
I replaced 5 50W Phillips Halogens with these bulbs.Light output - Comparable to Halogens but may be slightly and I do mean slightly dimmer. Not enough to concern me and you may not notice. Lumen output I think is noted as higher on the packaging than on the Halogens. They do produce a warm light which was important to us.The only issue I've run across is they do dim from time to time but come right back to full intensity. I don't know if it's my wiring or the bulbs but the halogens we replaced did not do this.
