Some professor not requiring anymore
May be a good source for references and research, but it appears some professors are no longer requiring the book.

Damaged at arrival
Rented the item, and the look won't affect the usage, but I just want a record that it came WITH damage to the cover.

Great read!
Freezes sometimes, but very easy on the eyes and cheaper than the actual textbook.

Textbook
A required text for a required class.

Is there no other textbook to use?
For a book that is about organization of information, this was very confusing and disorganized. I know it’s a pretty dry subject, but I put me asleep every single time I read it.

Add This Book To Your LIS or Library Science Bookshelf
Got this book for a course I took at University in Library and Information Science. The text is lucid and the writers make it clear what it really means to organize information in order to facilitate the retrieval of information resources (e.g. books, ebooks, audio-visual, even electronic documents). For students in a LIS or Library Science program, this book is a valuable text you need to really consider adding to your academic bookshelft
