good enough for me
I am not an audiophile or an audio engineer, so I am unsure if they are good quality. However, I love them. I have always bought the cheap $1.25 ones from Dollar Tree, which often break and/or have audio issues. I didn't want to go through all the hassle of trying new headphones and returning them if I hated them since the drop off is a bit away, but one day I got tired of buying said earbuds.I chose to buy these first out of several options and give tozo a second chance due to many positive reviews both on amazon and on youtube. I was a bit wary to try Tozo's again since a while back, I returned wireless earbuds since the audio sounded like I dumped my head in the water. I thought all of tozo's products would sound the same (or that maybe that is what good audio was supposed to sound like since once again I am not an audiophile - the water sounding part is just how I describe it so unsure what the proper terms would be).Fortunately, unlike the last time, there were more YouTube audio test videos for this item, which had the sound I was looking for.I am happy with my purchase. I should have purchased these years ago. I love how they sound right off of the box. I just needed a simple equal sounding audio. As I don't like using Bluetooth or third-party apps due to safety concerns (only tried bluetooth once those years ago), I am using them wired only. So I am sorry about not being useful in providing charging or battery life experiences. I am so glad that those (and several other companies, but not all) use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack cable. Which are easier to find and cheap to purchase replacements. As long as the internals don't break, I can simply replace the cable. My hope is that they will last for 26+ months to make up for how much I spend compared to the Dollar Tree one and how long they last for me on average. The only con that I agree with is that the audio leakage is as loud as people say, but I knew that when I bought the item. I don't mind this much.So yeah, sorry that was long. TLDR: As a general easy-to-please person (who also values detachable cables in order to make my things last longer), these headphones sound good. I would definitely buy some for friends/family as gifts, but only if they aren't big audiophiles since I don't know if there good or not.

My New Favorite Headphones
In short, for around $30 these are very good headphones. You’ll have tough time beating them for $30, but if you are true audiophile on a budget and willing to pay a bit more for sound quality and sacrifice other characteristics, there might be a better option in the Anker Soundcore Q20s, depending on what you are looking for.I wear headphones all the time at home when watching TV or listening to music as not to disturb (or be disturbed by) my family or neighbors. I have purchased and reviewed more noise canceling headphones than I can remember. I have Sony WH1000XM2s, Soundcore Q20s and an MPOW M5 that I use regularly. I also have a Cowin SE8 that I use at work.I tried these to replace the MPOWs that are pretty much being held together with tape. The Tozos were packaged as minimally as I have seen any ANC headphones. They were bagged snuggly in their box cushioned at the top and bottom with custom packaging foam. They did not come with a bag or case, but did come with a USB A to USB C charge cable and a 1/8” male to male cable.Build quality is very good for the price point. The headphones seem very solid. The adjustable headband seems to stay in place. Styling looks to be more premium than their price point with an all mat black finish contrasted with a metallic TOZO logo on each ear.The headphones are just about as comfortable as any headphones I had tried save the Cowin’s. They fit my small to medium sized head completely unextended, with appropriate clamping force. The headphones don’t want to slip off even when bending forward, but they don’t hurt and my ears don’t get hot. Their shape is in between a C and D with maybe a finger’s worth of clearance from the top pad to the protein cups. So, while they aren’t the lowest profile headset, they don’t look like you are wearing a C-clamp on your head. Weight is 9.15 oz, exactly the same as the Soundcore, maybe a half oz more than the MPOWs and an half oz less than the Sonys. The top padding is adequate but would be better if it was a bit wider or more contoured to distribute weight. The protein cups have a standard two axis symmetric oval shape are are soft and conforming to my head. Clamping force seems about right to me.Controls are not the most intuitive but not bad. A rocker switch behind the right ear controls sound. Annoyingly there is a loud “bleep” sound when adjusting volume up or down. Foreward of the rocker is a button that cycles from, ANC, ANC-off, and adaptive-ANC with an Asian sounding voice letting you know the mode. Aft of the rocker is the multi-function switch.Sound quality is good with a typical but not overly sculpted v-shaped sound profile. Mid and highs are very clear, lows are the tiniest bit muddy compared to the best headphones, but still good especially at this price. The sound profile can be adjusted. At least on your phone, with the TOZO app. It’s as good as any headphone app I have seen and it allows for near limitless equalizer profiles. Also plenty of people share profiles so unless you like super heavy bass, I’m pretty sure you’ll find a sound profile to your taste.Noise canceling is excellent, not just at this price point, but overall at any price, especially in adaptive mode. Like all ANC low frequency noise is blocked, but these block mid to high frequency sounds similar go high end Sony or Bose headphones.Bluetooth range is good. I can walk 30’ away and can receive a signal through walls and doors with ease.My only complaint is battery life. They are advertised as 60H and I doubt that I get half of that. By comparison all of my other headphones get pretty close to or exceed their advertised battery life.Overall:Sound quality- 4/5Noise canceling- 4.5/5Build quality and comfort - 4/5Value - 5/5Overall 4.5/5
