Pelican Case 1640 Anti Static Foam Inserts (4 Pieces)

Overall the case is okay. The case is sturdy but I wish I would have spent the same amount or less money to get a Pelican case instead. The thing that really sold me was having a pre-cut foam insert to hold the Ruger Precision Rifle. However, the description didn't mention that the foam insert is cut for the 24" barrel, not the 20". Also, when you have precision rifle you likely have the stock adjusted to you and don't want to collapse your stock settings, the foam cut out fits a stock while it's adjusted to it's smallest settings. Not a huge deal since the foam can be cut more to adjust. The ends of the case don't seem to make a tight seal all the way (even with nothing in the case) the hinge side and buckle side seal well but the ends don't which makes me reluctant to fully trust it in wet weather. It's a fairly heavy case to start with before adding a rifle and a few loaded mags so it's nice to have the wheels. The handles and buckles are sturdy.

I would have gave it a 5-star rating if it would have had the proper phone cut to the Pacific measurements but it said it had when I ordered it it was supposed to be cut for the 6.5 Creedmoor and it had the bolt housing up above the top corner mine came with the boat housing below rifle and a large hole cut in the top corner but I do not know what to put in tried to put shells in it it's not wide enough tried to put my work Grinch in it not big enough if they would send me a replacement foam cut to the measurements of what I ordered I would give them a five star
