Warm, dry and SO easy to assemble!
I needed a replacement house for the feral black, senior cat that lives on my porch in the frigid WI winter. Last few years, he made due with a padded dog cube that I cut a hole in for a heating pad and placed a synthetic blanket inside (never use cotton - they never dry and your cat will get hypothermia) - but it wasn’t waterproof and it was too small for him to be truly comfy. When I saw this large, highly elevated, heated house I had to order it. It got here in a few days and I assembled it in under 10 min. Review the product photos to see how well insulated this sucker is - for those trashing the inner reflective Mylar, read up on heat conductivity and Mylar emergency blankets and get back to us. Anyway, it’s well made, waterproof, designed to heat but not overheat - if you’ve ever fallen asleep with a heating pad you’ll know it can get crazy hot - you don’t want that for a cat who will sleep hours in this thing. I wanted the laying surface inside to be more comfy for my older feral so I got a 3” thick dog crate and it fit perfectly! I also stuck a low-light, usb motion light at the entrance that turns off after they get comfy. It’s seriously the best, warmest cat house I’ve ever purchased and I’ve now gotten a second one (the elevated vs highly elevated since there’s isn’t snow and rain to contend with) for the friendly kitty who lives in my garage. The only thing that could’ve made this better - was a second escape entrance on the back side, but I’m not sure if it would be as strong and secure if it had that. Advice - buy the largest one you can so they can stretch out and be truly comfortable. If you’re placing this outside, get the highly elevated so that it’s up off the wet, cold ground. (For the comfy inner mattress, see the one made by EMPSIGN “Stylish Dog Bed” and select the one that will fit your cat house by reviewing the inner dimensions. They’re waterproof, have a removable/washable plush cover and will be used separately in the non-winter months for the cats to lay up.) These cats love their new homes and it’s my way of paying them back for the excellent mousing they do for me year-round next to cornfields.

Impressive easy house
The house is easy to put together. There are three sizes of poles and they all fit together into a rectangle box. Cat house fabric slides over the box. The cat house itself is impressive for it's layout. The room inside is easy to Install. The material feels very sturdy. Hopefully my missing kitty will come home and find warmth in it.

Superbly crafted unit for warmth and resistance to precipitation
The interior design utilizes a distinct entryway that is separated from the warm room with the heat pad.The top cover of the unit is totally protected from precipitation getting inside over the four walls by flaps on the sides and at the corners too.The entire interior (walls, ceiling, and floor) is covered with durable heat reflecting aluminized films. My cat is getting older, and he has difficulty making a right angle turn while simultaneously slithering through an interior doorway to the warm room that is only about 5 inches high from the interior floor. The area of the doorway is probably small so as to reduce the exchange of cold entryway air with the air in the warm room. I removed the height barrier of the doorway so that my cat does not have to slither through. The interior doorway is now less functional at separating the cold air in the entryway from that in the warm room.I added a tiny USB cable powered light at a top corner of the warm room for vision.

Very well designed
I bought 2 of these for my feral cats and they went in the first night. The houses are well designed using quality materials and are very easy to assemble. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great Winter House!
Easy to assemble & water, weather tight; power cord is sturdy & safe from crewing.(Reminds me of a soft side cooler with a heater) This is proving to be a good winter sleeping spot for "our" back porch feral cat. It's pretty tough house & works for cat inside during cod nights & sitting on top in the sunshine during the day. The small is good for one cat or would recommend sizing up if there are a few needing shelter. Good product overall , would recommend.

Cold and awkward
The good - seems to provide some heated space for cats. The bad - awkward assembly with poles and plastic joints, flap on front door can’t be fixed out of the way and left open except for tucking it under the pole. Most significant con is the heat pad and it is only 2/3 of the space. This is to allow for a partition and a “mud room” but really cats just want to be warm and losing 1/3 of the small space for an entry is not practical
