I Collect Knives....This is a MASTERPIECE
Here's my sad tale of woe. We were in 'Vegas, went to The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, and Yours Truly, who is never without a pocket knife, had one. I'm one of those guys who has a knife in every pair of pants all of the time and never gave it a thought. I had to leave it at the door and it was not recoverable. They had no method by which to leave it at the door and retrieve it later. Well, we were there to see The Wizard of Oz (Amazing. A Do Not Miss!!), so what else could I do? Left knife behind, saw the Wizard. Best Thing Ever. A couple of days later I did a search for best pocket knives. CASE kept coming up over and over again. I prefer smaller pocket knives and when I saw this one, WOW, It looked way too good to be true and at a very reasonable price. What the heck. With Amazon's easy return I ordered it. It was waiting for me when I got home. What a gorgeous knife! Small, fits easily in the coin pocket of my jeans, is exceptionally sharp, and with the brass and chrome combo on the hard flamed bone handle it really makes the grade. My wife even said it was beautiful. I have no doubt that this will last a lifetime and will get handed down over generations. Case knives aren't cheap knockoffs like so many pretty knives that look good but won't hold an edge. Case is the real deal. And will be my go-to from now on.

His favorite knife
This is a great little knife for daily use. It comes super sharp and hasn’t rusted after almost a year of daily carry. Well balanced and easy to fit and carry in a pocket. He’s loved case knives for years and this was a great one to add to the collection.

Excellent!
Why did I wait 66 years to buy a Case pocket knife? I didnt expect much, but it did have great reviews and I wanted a new pocket knife. But wow, I didnt expect this level of feel, fit, finish, and quality of a knife. Oh, and looks awesome too!

Quality and is as advertised
Good knife has a sharp edge and good construction case always makes a good knife. Haven’t had to sharpen it yet. We’ll see how easy it is to sharpen and how well it holds an edge.

Reasonably Good
I've seen a lot of varied reviews on the specific units people received. Some are good and some are poor. I've noticed when viewing the page listing for the Case Medium Stockman SS Amber Bone, the actual seller listed on the right side of the screen is not always the same company. It depends on when you're placing the order. Mine said it was sold by Parker's Home Store. Today the page says it's sold by Samis Shop. Understandable, but it might also explain some things. My knife was clearly a return from another customer. Two of the blades had very significant wear patterns obviously from opening and closing them many times. And the Case Knife box was wrapped so tightly in strong, clear shipping tape, it completely destroyed the box when removing it. I own multiple Case knives, the boxes are never wrapped in anything like that. It appeared to be wrapped by a customer before returning it. Other than the obvious wear patterns on the two blades the knife functions well. The springs are nice and strong as they should be on that knife. No gaps on the back side, it looks good. The blades are in reasonably good shape after honing them up a bit. The Stockman pattern is fairly well known for blade rub. I've seen knife collectors display their copies which also show the same rub pattern. Some copies are so perfectly aligned that the blade rub is either minimal or none. But that is certainly not the case with all of them. Some people tolerate it, others don't. A way to avoid the marks from blade rub is to always open the Sheeps Foot blade first, then continue from there. It's an extra step but worth it if you can't stand to see any rub marks on the blades. For working knives it's really not a big deal. Knife collectors have a little different view, understandably. Because everything else about this knife seems fine, I'm going to keep it. It's not my only Case Stockman and it will become a working knife kept in my truck. Make note of who is actually fulfilling the order when you buy it. That information might be helpful. I don't think obvious returns with visible wear should be sold to other customers as new, but many vendors do it. Just something to be aware of. As well as the blade rub patterns, which is not that unusual for the three-blade Stockmans. I think it's more common that people realize.
