From the manufacturer Automatic Electric USB/Battery Pencil Sharpener, Black The Rapesco PS12-USB sharpener has a hole for 6-8 mm diameter standard-size pencils and a hole for 9-12 mm diameter jumbo-size pencils . It sharpens round, triangular and hexagonal pencils such as coloured, charcoal, drawing and graphite. A USB cable (included) can power this automatic electric pencil sharpener, or 4 x AA batteries (batteries not included) can be used for portability. It sharpens an average of 10-12 pencils per minute . Electric Pencil Sharpener.
Works well, Easy to use, Especially when fitted with batteries.

Superb sharpener. Clean cut and very fine point.
Very good sharpener, batteries last a long time in it. Sharpens to a very fine point without breaking the pencils. Nice clean cut. Good if you have kids that do lots of colouring as they can easily use it themselves without harm.

Works well but question durability
Purchased this to replace the same model that failed earlier than expected. No question that the sharpener works really well and the fact that you can buy new blades is great. Handy USB lead too. I hope this one lasts longer than the first which developed a fault in that it wouldn't switch off unless you removed the batteries. It feels good quality, not flimsy but we'll see how this one lasts in action!

Oh my goodness this is amazing. Such a useful tool and it works ! I have it plugged in and it only takes a couple of seconds to sharpen a pencil. At last a sharpener that actually works!

Value for money
Well packaged and quick delivery Sharpens pencils ok Front opening isn’t good. Shavings go everywhere when front is opened to empty . Need to stand over bin when emptying

Great forcoloured pencils.
I like how easy and quick this is to use. Without using the batteries and just using the USB lead, I don’t find lead too short. Works particularly well with coloured pencils such as Polychromos and prismacolour. It does work with the PITT pencils although I Think a hand crank sharpener works much better for pastel pencils. Also came with a set of replaceable sharpener blades which I think is nice to have. Definitely good value for money.

Poor quality
Not good!!!! Don't buy it. Shame can't return it, left it too long to test it out. It's braking the pencils, keeps blocking after trying just one pencil.

Funciona bien... aunque el color me gustó más en la foto. No obstante es chulo para alguien que le gusta el rosa y funcional, que es lo que importa.

Ich bin mit dem Anspitzer sehr zufrieden. Er formt eine jedenfalls für mich gute Spitze, mit der ich gut zeichnen kann.

Je cherchais un taille crayon efficace et de bonne qualité, c’est fait avec ce produit solide, très bien construit et pratique d’utilisation. Il offre deux tailles pour bien affuter son matériel : 6 à 8 mm pour les petits crayons et 9 à 12 mm pour les plus gros, qu’il faut ouvrir avec une petite manette située sur le côté. Il tient bien sa place avec 7.5 cm de haut, sur 8 cm de long et 7 cm de large, il faut juste faire quelques essais afin de prendre le coup de main, bien maintenir le crayon, sans le bouger et il ressort parfaitement aiguisé. Le package inclut 4 lames de rechange, ainsi qu’une prise USB pour recharger, autrement il y a également la place pour 4 piles AA, qu’il faut acheter. Il se vide très facilement en appuyant sur le tiroir en plastique détachable et se remet de manière impeccable. Un très bon produit qui affiche un rapport qualité/prix très appréciable. Je recommande.
