PlayStation Link USB Adapter - for Pulse Elite & Pulse Explore

I lost my Adapter to my PlayStation elite headphones. I checked online and it said to buy another link adapter. Sure enough once I received this product I plugged it in and held the link buttons until I heard the paired sound. Really good product and easy to pair

Works great

I have a Pulse 3D Elite PlayStation headset. It came with a USB Link Adapter which after about a year, suddenly stopped connecting to the headset. The headset still connects to other devices, it simply will not connect to my PS5, so I bought a replacement adapter. The replacement is shown in comparison photos with the original USB Link Adapter. The original adapter that came with the headset is pictured on the right in all of the photos. You can see clearly that the ‘refurbished’ adapter does not look as good as the original one, even though my original is over a year old and has been in constant use. In the second photo you can see where the refurbished USB was pried open. Perhaps I’m just putting on a tinfoil hat here, but in the third photo I swear that the font for the text on the back of the USBs don’t even match up properly. The spacing between the letters looks off to me. I do not recommend this product, you’ll likely have better luck on Playstation Direct. Even at the cost of a few extra dollars it is worth it to ensure you are getting a properly working product.

USB does work for pulse explore just has to both connect at the same time and usb and explore need an update to fully connect.

I bought this after the usb driver that came with the Elite Pulse headphones we bought for my son’s birthday stopped working— after two weeks of use. We tried every tip and trick we could find on the internet. I even drove to Best Buy, where we made the headset purchase, to see if they could help. I tried contacting Playstation help/ support online, too. Could not get past the AI, which was useless. Use Reddit— you can find numerous examples of the driver and headset failing to connect properly. I will be returning this, unfortunately.

Working great

I had the USB in the back of my PS5 for my pulse earbuds and I think the heat fried it. Earbuds did not work at all! So I ordered this as my PS5 kept saying "This PS5 does not support bluetooth". When this USB came in my pulse earbuds work again. Highly recommend having the USB in the front.

For a product that does exactly what it's meant to do, which is connect PS Link devices, it's great! DO NOT BUY FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN PS LINK DEVICES. As of this review, they only work on the PS Pulse Explore/Elite. I have the new PS Pulse Explore earbuds and I can bounce from PC to PS5 to Portal conveniently. I just have to press the PS Link button on the PS Pulse Explore, then press the PS Link button on the adapter and they connect right away. To switch from one platform to another, I just repeat the process for where I want to use it and it works well. I'll gladly pay a premium for more convenience.

Connects perfectly to my playstation elite headphones. Perfectly if you've misplaced your original dongle.
