Compact, affordable, easy to use & great picture quality.
I'd had my old projector for about 8 years, it was a huge heavy clunky machine with loud fans, eventually I decided I didn't want to deal with it anymore & went to research new projectors. I had no idea the technology had evolved on so much in that period, after a lot of researching, comparing & investigating I found this projector to be the best quality and value for money. I was super happy with the product when it arrived, it's so easy to use, lightweight, compact, looks great and is so silent when operating. Definitely recommend.

Excellent portable projector at a brilliant price.
If you want a small, powerful projector, I can't believe you can get anything better at any price. Its tiny, lightweight, it works beautifully and looks great. The leather handle enables you to just pick it up and move it anywhere you want it, while its removable power cable means it is unencumbered with wires. It really is that easy to use. Just put it down plug it in and you're ready to go.I love the fact that it is LED and doesn't have an expensive bulb to replace. it looks good quality and will probably last as long as you would ever want. Its really versatile in its use. For presentations you can just connect a laptop using the supplied AVI lead, or even better just plug in an HDMI lead, turn up the volume find a blank wall or even a foldable tripod screen and you are instantly presenting. You can cast your phone to the projector and watch anything you like from it on 'The Big Screen'. (Most phones will cast but Google prevents me casting from my Pixcel 7 Pro whereas a cheap Android phone works fine). Haven't got a Samsung to test it on The problem is something to do with the Miracast program. If you have a Google Chromecast you can connect that and it works like a dream. Its not a problem for me since I have an Amazon Firestick 4K which plugs straight into the Toptro's HDMI socket and you very simply have all the TV channels and movies you can want. Its the cheapest way you can put together a home cinema system. Sound quality is fine but since the projector has BlueTooth built in, I can connect it to a larger BlueTooth speaker for a full hifi experience. It works on my TV soundbar and I guess it will connect to a Sonus system too.Picture quality is incredibly good and does great things with a 4K system. These days TV screens are large and this projector has its size limitations but it goes bigger than a 55" TV and the children love the excitement of watching a film on the projector. The settings menus are comprehensive and you can back project, hang it upsidedown etc and bring the picture back the right way up.I really like this projector and its so reasonably priced I just had to have one.

Superb value
Until a week ago I never even realised that I needed a projector. We were in The Range queueing at the till and on impulse I picked up a Sensei projector from a carefully located display at the checkout. I'm a sucker for impulse buying glitzy things that cost a few bob so I picked one up explaining to my missus that it'd be my birthday present (or something like that) and handed over the £100 they were rushing me for it. When I got home, I spent an entire afternoon and half the evening trying to get this apparently IOS compatible p.o.s. to work with my iPhone. Six hours wasted and a lot of swearing.I returned the unit a couple of days later explaining that it was incompatible with my iPhone and got my £100 back. The trouble was that by now, I was hooked. Enamoured with the idea of actually being able to watch movies whilst sitting on the deck, wine glass in hand on a warm summer evening (yeah!... I'm an idealist dreamer too), i'd concluded that my life was 'incomplete'.After extensive research on Amazon, I realised that the idea wasn't beyond the realms of fantasy - even at my budget. A couple of days later and I was prepared to take a gamble on this item, the TOPTRO Model TR23 on offer at £94.99. Apparently I 'never learn', right? Wrong! Now I could spend paragraphs detailing technical data, special features, aesthetics blah, blah, blah... but I won't. I'm just going to say this... and i'll put it in quotation marks as it's quite important."If you're thinking of buying a projector but don't have the big bucks to buy something your neighbour would show off with, then stop. You've found it. Buy this one. Do I recommend it? Yes. Should you buy this one? Yes."There! That should be all you need to know but I'll say just a little bit more. In 30 minutes I'd connected it to my wi-fi and connected the bluetooth to my portable speaker. I'd plugged in my old Chromecast stick (series 1 from many years ago) and opened the Disney app on my phone. With the projector pointed at the dining room wall, I'm suddenly watching one of my favourite movies - 'Ratatouille'. The film is being transmitted from my phone to the Chromecast dongle and the stunning cinema quality sound is being sent by the projector to my speaker. Heaven! My wife arrives home in an hour so I might rescue my reputation - which was in shreds after wasting a hundred quid on that piece of ***t from The Range. All I need now is a warm summer night, a bottle of red and a comfy chair out on the deck.Anymore you need to know? Just that the unit is incredbly well made and feels like a quality item. Even without a screen, the picture on a wall one metre from the unit is as big and bright as a 50" HDTV. You can focus (and straighten) the picture via the remote control. It does have iOS Airplay and Miracast plus the web and other methods of connection but do yourself a favour - just plug your Chromecast into the projector and use that. So simple.Enjoy.

Great looking projector, clear image, but the fan is a little loud.
I bought this projector as we didn't have space in the bedroom for a TV. I chose this one as you don't have to set it up directly inline with where you want the screen to appear, this function works brilliantly. With it being in the bedroom, we can't have the volume very loud as the kids are sleeping next door, we found the fan quite loud and the sound quality quite poor at a lower volume, at a higher volume I have no complaints about the sounds performance! To rectify the issues I was having with the sound at a low volume, I thought perfect, I'll use the Bluetooth headset feature, but I could only get one headset to be active at a time, which is quite disappointing.I don't think it is going to work out for it's initial purpose, but I am excited to do cinema evenings outside with the kids! The machine itself is really slick and seems to be of great build quality. Its a nice looking piece of kit, it was also really easy to set up.
