Didn't work with my deadbolt at all. We tried and tried and yes, we checked to make sure they were in correctly and they were. Just not enough juice, I guess. Unfortunately, I didn't try them until the window had closed. They do work on other things I have. Like remotes and toys. So, I can use them, but I usually don't give that much for those kinds of uses. Just make sure you try them before your window closes.

I couldn’t get this to work for my Blink camera and was ready to return them but my industrial mechanic husband looked at it for 2 seconds and figured out the issue. The green wrapper covers too much of the positive area of the battery so the blink receptacle doesn’t get a good enough connection. A quick swipe with a finger nail and peel off of the top portion of the wrapper took care of the issue entirely and it seems to work now. Seems like a design flaw that could be fixed but at least it’s a few extra minutes of work while changing the battery and then you’re golden.
