Might be the best go book out there
Might be the best go book out there. Should be suitable for anyone 10k to 5dan. Quality of the print isn't great, but not something that bothers me.

How to Attack .....and not give away the game.
This is a great book for someone who knows the basics. It would be an excellent introduction to the middle game for someone finishing the Learn to Play Go series by Janice Kim and Jeong Soo-Lyn. It takes for granted that you are familiar with some basic openings and begins at that point. It is a focus on balance and power and how to achieve those goals through attacking your opponents stones while defending your own framework. This book helps novice players develop workable and potent strategies. It also teaches you to defend against common attacks. I've been playing go little less than a year. I'm a 15k on NNGS (nngs.cosmic.org) and this book helped me immensely. I have been evenly matched in games with a friend since we began learning together. After reading this book I'm three stones ahead of him. It is packed with loads of information and I'm sure I'll be reviewing this book to pick up some of the lessons I missed the first time through.

Excellent resource for GO lovers
Excellent book for Go lovers; if you are into this game I fully recommend this book (all the series) to you. Amazon price is the best in the market.

Great for beginner players
My teacher used this book series to teach me, and even if the joseki is a little outdated, I will use these for a long time to come.

Main issues of the book are strategy and tactics of large-scale fighting in the game of Go
This is a really helpful book for Go players who have already a decent knowledge of thegame of Go (I'd say from 10 kyu and higher), but who want to improve significantly!

No se trata de la edición original. Es una impresión para amazon, de calidad bastante baja, ya que se ve todo como pixelado (textos, esquemas), costando ver sobre todo las piedras blancas de los esquemas de tableros. Me ha defraudado bastante.Además lo entregaron varios días tarde por fallo reconocido de amazon.El libro en sí muy recomendable, esta edición no tanto.

Die beiden Autoren sind ein 9d-pro-Spieler und ein amerikanischer Go-Buch-Autor, denen hier ein Glanzstück an Zusammenarbeit gelungen ist. Ich habe viele Go-Videos auf YouTube angeschaut und Tsumegos gelöst und mich so bei Online-Spielen stetig verbessert. Dieses Buch hat für mich einen echten Sprung in meiner Spielstärke verschafft: Innerhalb von 3 Wochen habe ich mich von 13k auf 9k auf OGS hochgearbeitet, was sich direkt auf die Inhalte des Buches zurückführen lässt.
