Great Irrigation Spray Head Riser!
My irrigation system has been in the ground for a while. Living in the dirt, it is subjected to many environmental pressures as shifting soil due to winter weather, rain and drought conditions. These risers allow for some adjustment in the main irrigation line to allow the spray head to maintain mowing clearance and sprayer height for optimal water coverage. Plus, the soil conditions are "corrosive" to older and thinner previously installed risers. These sturdy units and others of varying lengths bring back he spray head location with optimal water coverage. Always have a few spares to re-engineer any spray head location.

These work great, and they'll fit into anything with NPT thread, so don't worry about mixing and matching brands. I know I sure didn't. Probably a good idea to use plumber's tape.

Get a 4 pack of brass ones with a hex nut for $18. This one broke in just a few weeks. However, it did work during that time.
