New OEM Genuine 1000-500031-000 ACWSO11C-O5U 5.1V 2.2A Power Supply For 2WIRE

Oh yeah! My power supply died for my 2wire router and was looking for a new one that wasn't going to break the bank! And oh yeah I found one. Try calling your local internet provider for help? Did they just say you need a new router? So we'll send you a new one and charge you 75-100.00 for it as well. But the only light that would periodically flash red was the power led? 2wire router keeps resetting and all the lights take their turn flashing green except a brief red flash from the power led then it goes to green but continues to flash? Chances are it is the power supply not the router. Local provider said no it's the router you need a new one, so fork over the bucks! Well to Amazon I went and found this little gem. Once hooked up went into reset and a minute or two later back to normal and my internet was restored. I will not say the name of the internet provider, but how many other windstream customers have been duped into a new router cause the 1st thing out of a techs mouth is router bad? I learned from experience that many times it's not the case. Yes this happened to me once before and I went for the new router but hated the lack of range, so I went to an auction site and purchased a used 2wire router and during installation I just swapped out the router and not the power supply and realized nothing was working. Swapped out the router and used the auction site purchased power supply and everything was fine. Ha what a surprise a provider tech that didn't know what they were talking about, or maybe working on sales commission as well!Thanks to Amazon and this fantastic seller(Accessory Xpert) I will not have to purchase a new router for the sake of a bad power supply ever again!

This genuine OEM 2Wire AC power adapter, p/n 1000-500031-000, model ACWS011C-05U is the second one of these power adapters I have purchased from Amazon to fix the problem with my 2Wire model 2701HG-B Wireless DSL Gateway (modem/router). Unfortunately, 2Wire originally manufactured these adapter with poor quality electrolytic filter capacitors and after a couple years or so of use, the capacitors start to go bad and let some noise get into the DC voltage output, which the adapter supplies to the 2Wire DSL Gateway. During boot-up, the Gateway (modem/router) performs a power on self test (POST). If there is too much noise on the DC power input, the Gateway will get stuck in a continuous boot-up loop. At one point the green power LED will blink red, meaning the Gateway thinks the DC power input is bad, so the Gateway will attempt to reboot over and over. The simple fix is to purchase one of these AC power adapters for about $10 and bang, your DSL Gateway will be working again and you'll be back on the Internet. I've been very pleased with my two purchases of these genuine OEM units from Amazon and I'm sure I'll be buying some more of them, as long as I still have the 2Wire 2701HG-B DSL Gateway.

Do not buy the official "2Wire" brand power supply. This one lasted 28 days. Prior to this one I had a generic power supply which lasted for more than a year. Prior to the generic one I had a "2WIRE" brand that worked for about 6 months. The original "2WIRE" power supply that came with the router lasted several years. Makes me wonder if these "2WIRE" brand power supplies being sold on Amazon are "knock offs."

The item was exactly what I needed. It fit the unit perfectly. The picture helped tremendously to make the deal as it showed to be exactly what I wanted.

It worked fine and saved me purhasing a new modem.

My experience these don't last long. Need to have a spare on hand.

The Power Supply worked well. I also like the fact that shipping was "free", so without going all the way through checkout I wasn't surprised at the end with an exorbitant shipping fee.

After a month it is still working for 2Wire ATTWe will see how long it lasts.I would be happy with a year.
