This simple diverter works great ! Easy to switch the outlet from right to left, as I did, and I used the 2x3 adapter to fill the space around the bottom of the diverter. I have the larger 3x4 downspouts. This made a nice, clean installation. I used a piece of fine screen above the diverter to filter out bugs and leaves. Made the top part so that it will slide up to allow cleaning or replacement of the screen and also the diverter. My only complaint is the hose. It never straightened out completely from being folded up in the box. Will probably replace that later. My 2-55 gal barrels filled completely from a 1" rain.

Easy to install and everything you need all packaged together. Instructions made installation simple and fast. Adjustable catch rate makes it easy to control how much water is diverted. Fits standard downspouts and has fitting for smaller size packages with it. Blends in with the downspout for a sleeker look.

Works pretty decently for the gutter. I ended up buying two of these just so I could have the extra fitting attachment so it looks better otherwise the bottom part of this isn’t really big enough to fit the gutter (as shown in some other photos on review page). Otherwise works well. We got a bunch of rain recently and filled barrel up super quick

The pliable tube had to be soaked in hot water to unflatten it, but worked well afterwards. The adjustable flow diversion is a great feature!

Got one. Installed it. Worked great.Got a second. Installed it. Worked great.This product will require you to cut into your downspout. That can be troublesome if you don't have the correct tools. Your cut should be as le el as possible.Hose clamp is not included but can be found at most hardware stores. Hose itself is stiff. It can be made pliable afer a fashion but it will have kinks. Spout can be right or left (big selling point). The actual diverter function works great.

Fits a little loose and fell apart in some strong winds, and the 10ish foot downspout is a lot less stable and wiggly now. Id probably make the recommended cut 1-2 inches shorter you'd still probably be able to get it in and it might fit tighter. The adjustable flow is a nice feature diverts well when on full flow. However it barely catches anything if not on full flow. Mine clicks hard into full flow I thought it wasn't working the first couple rains but turned it harder and it clicked in.

Now this gadget does just what you want!!Cut a small section of the down-spout out and put this unit in.... it has a diverter switch so you can collect all of the water or just some of it. The hose is thick n sturdy and should survive being in the sun. I did put some silicone caulk around the edges of the downspout... partially for protection from the sharp edges and partly to keep the unit secure

This unit works really well. Installed in a short time and works well in conjunction with my rain barrel.
