I've tried a bunch of different whey protein brands over the years, and some have given me stomach upsets—not ideal when you're just trying to get some protein in. But Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey has been solid for me. It digests well, no bloating, and the quality is definitely there.The salted caramel flavour? Absolutely brilliant—easily my favourite. It’s smooth, not too sweet, and mixes really well with water or milk (no weird clumps). Some brands either taste artificial or get sickly over time, but this one is just right.For the 2.28kg tub, the value is fantastic. It lasts ages, and considering the quality, it's well worth the price. If you're after a reliable whey protein that won’t mess with your stomach and actually tastes good, this is the one to go for.

I’ve tried a whole world of protein powders over the years. And I’m often not really bothered about the taste…but I get it, it helps to be tasty.Focussing on the ingredients and macros of this specific one, it’s hard to beat. I don’t need the carbs, I get those from food, protein is really nice and high and sugar and fat both at a great level.When added to my strict daily (tracked) intake, this protein slots in perfectly.Being aware that protein powder is not some miracle solution, simply an easy way to hit my daily required protein goals to repair and build muscle along with hard work and structured diet… this one is my now go-to.Also…tastes brilliant. It tastes nothing like Salted Caramel it just tastes like sickly sweet Vanilla with a very synthetic taste, it also gave me a Headache and the trots something I have never experienced with Maxi Nutrition Restore/Lean or with PHD Whey Products amongst others.A complete and utter waste of £57.00More Sub-Standard than Gold StandardThe only positive is that it mixed ok with a hand blender that’s it!.

Bought the sachets as didn't want to commit to a larger amount if I didn't like it, I wasn't disappointed great taste I used it in smoothies and will buy the tin next time
