Installing the plug's SmartLife controlling app to my phone was simple, but registering the app was anything but. After 54 years of programming and using computers I was slightly embarrassed to resort to YouTube for guidance - to find that simply inserting an email address rather than the phone number it appeared to be looking for worked just fine. This then allowed me easily to add multiple On/Off daily schedules.What I really wanted was a schedule linked to daylight times. The linking of the app to my Alexa was not totally straightforward either, but the 'advanced' procedure allowed me to add the SmartLife app to Alexa fairly simply, and subsequently to set On and Off times up to an hour before or after sunrise and sunset times - exactly as required.

I like this smart plug , because value for money , an great to be able to turn the tv for from the plug so not left on standby when turned off

Well made easy to use in app. Even shows voltage and current and how much electricity you have used.

Excellent eg with a lamp, for creating the illusion that someone is in.

If anyone is having trouble connecting to your 2.4g WiFi, try connecting using WiFi and your Bluetooth on your phone (this option will be given to you if your WiFi will not connect by itself to the device)

Works really work and connects to the TUYA app easily. I've got it linked to Alexa and it works perfectly

It's a connected switch and works with the Smart Life app which is what I was after. Reliable, not too bulky and hasn't failed so far.

It works well ( in fact 5* ). However setting it up was not easy.Eventually managed by putting it as far from my router as possible, in order to set it up.It now functions well through both the Smart Life app and using Alexa.
