Coolest product
We purchased this for our kiddo and he loves it. It is also very sturdy. He wants multiple now. So won't be our last purchase.

Battery capacity is crap
I purchased a sword about six months ago and now I’m writing a review. The sword looks good and initially when you charged it and then you turned it on the sword lit up and it was nice and it was cool. Then 15 minutes of it being illuminated, it was dead And charge it for half hour and you can get 15 minutes worth of light. Now six months later, it will not charge at all and I have contacted the manufacturer with no response.

Cool, but not for battling and difficult to put together
The media could not be loaded. I had to return the first one that I received as it was defective. Once I put it together it wouldn't turn on. Also there is no charging indicator so you do not know whether its fully charged or even if it has any charge to it if it’s not working. Recommend to keep the exterior box until you find out whether it works. Once you assemble the blade you will not be able to dismantle it. When you first put on the hand guard you will need to shave the top step. See picture 2. The top step when you put the hand guard on it will hit that step, you will need to make it an angle so it slips on. Make sure the cut on the hand guard matches the blade. Once on, but the rubber washer on next and then push hard to get the blade onto the handle. You will need to push it so that it goes all the way in. Tap the USB-C connection twice fast and it will turn on. Tap it again twice fast to turn off. It stipulates to only charge it for an hour at most.

Better Than a Space Light Saber
The media could not be loaded. I like this MUCH better than the Jedi Light Sabers that the Amusement Parks sell and it costs a LOT less. It's also quite sturdy once put together. I charged it up for about an hour after my last use and when I just now checked it, it was still charged, lit right up, and it's been sitting for over a month. I got just under an hour of use when I tested it by leaving it on. So turning it off after sheathing while at an event should allow it to last the whole night. If not, I'll just use my power brick to freshen it up. :~)My pictures are of this light up sword next to one of my Steel Samurai Swords. The video is of this sword being drawn and some up close and at the end I draw and sheath it a couple of times in a dark room to "try" and convey just how great this looks when lit.Mine is the white LED blade and I absolutely love it!!! I definitely recommend it and will be wearing it at the next DW Studios Stars Wars Event I go to.

A decent but sort of pricey sword for what it is that my son loves
My son likes this sword, once you finally get it all assembled it's a pretty cool sword for a 4-year-old. Assembling the sword is not easy, not so much that it should be difficult, but following the instructions and trying to get all the pieces put in the proper order when I felt that the printed instructions were made for a slightly different model of sort of another revision of the product. The pieces were all there and went together sort of as instructed. I managed to miss a small spacer piece but had already clicked the sword grip in to place and guess what? You can't remove it again (at least easily). So, I wound up just leaving the spacer out which was fine as the small gap wasn't all that noticeable. Unlike others, the light and switches worked fine on mine and looks really cool when the sword is lit and being swung. The additional stand, sword holder/belt and sheath really make my son feel like a real ninja.

Never lit up
Purchased for son who is a huge One Piece fan and it lighting up was try e selling point. Received sword assembled and charged it, just for it to not even work. Very disappointing for myself and my son. Nothing more crushing than returning a product that a 9 year old really wanted.

Full size glowing katana sword for cosplay
The sword came in a slim and long white box inside which I found all the parts needed to assemble the sword. It was easy to follow the instruction to put the parts together. The tolerance between the parts were tight, and sometimes I had to use force to push the parts all the way in. But overall it was a very pleasant process. The sword came with full charge, so I just needed to turn it on. And the katana looked amazing! It gave me the Star War light saber vibe! The katana is full size for grown up, and is definitely too long and too heavy for kids. It is 39 inches from end to end. It came with a stand, and a faux leather carrying belt. Even when the sword was resting on the stand, it looked amazing!Once I got this sword, I could not go back to any regular cosplay sword that does not glow. Yes, it is a little more expensive than other swords, but the additional value you get is far more than the price increase.Have I said that the sword looks amazing?!
