PediPaws Replacement Filing Heads 12 Replacement Heads- As Seen on TV.

My dog has black toenails so cutting them is difficult for me. PediPaws is a great alternative to bleeding toes and these replacement filing heads work well. They fit my grinder and are easily replaced. They don't last very long but that's probably to be expected. Being able to buy them in quantity is good. I would buy them again.

Just like most other things made to replace things that wear out, these do too. Only these wear out faster than you can replace them. Cheap glue bonds the sand grit to the paper, so that comes off fairly quick. The paper isn't the same as the original, either. When the glue wears off along with the sand grit, the paper begins to shred after starting out new and just barely finishing the first foot. That is probably why there are so many in the package. The original felt like 80 grit and these feel like 100 or 120 grit, taking longer to do a toenail and wearing out prematurely because of it. I would rather but a whole new Doggy Nail Filer with new sanding wheels, or even buy some good 80 grit sand paper, cut out the strips just like the old ones I remove from the wheel, a can of 3M spray on Contact Cement, and restore the used wheels than buy these cheap replacements again. If you are crafty, or capable (it's really easy.) I am doing that now with all these extra wheels I have quite an inventory of long lasting sanding wheels for actually less money than if I bought them all again.

This review is not for the PediPaw it's self but more about the replacement pieces.I had bought the PediPaw earlier to try it and worked wonderfully and the dogs that I used it ondid not mind it at all so eventually I needed more of the replacement pieces.It is important not to keep the same one on for to long 'cause then it causes discomfort for the dog.So I ordered more piece with not trouble at all, delivery was on time, the cost is just right and I continueto use the PediPaw and I have bought replacements several times without any trouble at all and it has been overeight years without any trouble.Thank You.

When I originally bought the PediPaws, it came with an order sheet for the refills but I lost it somewhere along the way. It's convenient to find the refills on here rather than trying to track down a place that sells them. Each head seems to last about as long as the original did and the product is awesome, just files down the pups nails with minimal panic (and quite a few treats) involved

I HAVE THE PEDI-PAWS TO USE WITH THESE. MY DOG WAS PETRIFIED OF THEM, BUT I DECIDED TO TRY THEM ON MY OWN TOENAILS. I AM ELDERLY AND MY NAILS ARE VERY THICK AND TOUGH TO CUT. I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THEM ON MY OLD NAILS AND WOW....IT WORKS WONDERFUL. NO TRIPS TO THE PEDICURIST ANY MORE. I SUE IT ON MY NAILS WHEN THEY ARE DRY...NO FOOT SOAKING. THE HANDLE IS ALSO LONG ON THE PEDI-PAWS APPLIANCE AND THAT MAKES IT VERY EASY TO REACH THEM WHEN I HAVE A VERY DIFFICULT TIME BENDING DOWN TO REACH MY NAILS. SO I ORDERED MORE OF THE NAIL RPLACEMENTS, BUT HONESTLY, THEY LAST A LONG TIME. I HAVEN'T CHANGED THE ORIGINAL ONE YET AND I HAVE USED IT SEVERAL TIMES SINCE I BOUGHT IT. I AM GLAD I GAVE IT A TRY ON MY OWN NAILS AND MY POOR DOG HAS TO SUFFER WITH GOING TO THE GROOMER TO GET THEIR NAILS CUT! OH YES, THE FILING PROCEDURE IS ABSOLUTELY PAINLESS!

Perfect and Useful

Pedi Paws works ok. Just like you would expect from this type of commercialized product. The replacement heads are identical to the originals; shipping was timely. Price was good (I got them for about $10). They aren't the highest quality sanding tool, so it takes extra time to do your pup's nails. For my pup, that means extra whining and growling. Not the funnest situation. If your pup is more ameanable, go for it. With the cost of nail grinding at least $10 each time, $10 for 10 sets is worth it.

I love this product. I bought one to save money on expensive trips to the groomer for just a bath and nail clipping.When I first saw the ads on tv with the animals just sitting there I thought "No way that would work on my dogs!" I broke down and bought one and use it on both dogs with little to no fighting from them.I would recommend to start using this tool on younger pups because it makes them less nervous about it. My younger dog (we started using this when he was a pup) will actually fall asleep while I do his nails. The older dog will sit there, but needs reassurance that it is okay.This works great since the nails are filed and not cut. We have small dogs, so I don't know if you would get the same results with larger dogs with larger nails. I do love that there are no more scratches from sharp, cut nails.Of all the products advertised on tv, this is one that actually works.
