All you need to setup your smart home
This is perfect to setup automations with Alexa or Google home. It’s super easy to setup and it works great! I’ve had no issues with any of my units and their build quality seems superb. They have a button on the side to manually power them on and off and they also show a little light when they are on which is thoughtful design in case you need to troubleshoot. I have lamps connected to them and use Alexa to turn them on and off by command. You can set them up to power by timer as well. Make sure you set them all up to the same WiFi network you have your Alexa/Google to prevent any issues when you are setting them up. My only problem is I need more to automate more things!

Works with Google home. No hub needed
These are great! Super easy to hook up. They will hook up either to your Google home or a Google mini and then your Google home app can handle all the automations. Previously had a WeMo. These are many, many times. Better and easier and the automations are better. No more Belkin and stuff for me...

Easy setup, and works well
Bought a 6 pack. The setup with Apple Home was terrible, but a quick download of the free AirDot app was easy. This solved the problems. It uses your WiFi to connect devices. After the first device is setup, it’s very easy to add more after that. My older switches were stranded by theWeMo platform on 1/31/26, so I had to do something different. Interface is more intuitive and customizable. Happy, but it’s only been one day.

Not bad considering Matter is still pretty new
I got these because I wanted to try out Matter. Saw them on sale and based on the reviews these looked like a good starting point. I wanted to try these using Hubitat and Alexa to see how they worked. Hubitat: Hubitat does not commission matter devices yet, so I had to use the AiDot app. Adding the first plug was extremely easy. Once it was connected it automatically updated the firmware. This is a big plus. Added the outlet to Hubitat with zero issues (had to change the device type from device to generic matter outlet). Works perfectly. Alexa: Using the Alexa app didn't go so well. Alexa app kept failing at connecting your device. I reset the outlet (hold the button for 5 seconds until it flashes red) and tried again. Same problem. So I reset it again and added with the AiDot app. Again no issues and it updated the firmware. So this meant the outlet was not faulty. So once the firmware was completed, I deleted it from the AiDot app and reset the outlet. I tried the Alexa app again and it failed. So I moved the outlet 2 feet from one of my echo dots (previously it was about 15-20 feet away from 2 echo dots) and it connected and worked with no problems. Conclusion: I prefer to have my devices controlled locally vs cloud. I also don't prefer to use Alexa Skills if I don't have to. Too many times both Amazon and the other party are making changes and it will cause skills to stop working or have issues. So I removed the one from Alexa and added back in with the AiDot app to use with Hubitat. I have been using them for 2 weeks now and have had no issues with them falling of the network or not responding via Hubitat. We will see long term how they work. Not sure if the problem others are having with these are related to Alexa, firmware not updating or their wifi network. Not clear if the initial issues I had were an Alexa app/dot issue, the firmware, the distance from the dots or both. If I get anymore I will try to do more troubleshooting to see if I can figure it out. Hopefully as Matter matures there will be less issues like these.

It just works.
I've come to appreciate IoT devices that are as friction free as possible, and like every Linkind device I own, these fit that criteria. Apple Home recognizes them right away, and the setup was a breeze, as each hooked right up to my 2.4 GHz router I have set aside specifically for IoT devices. They work exactly when told, exactly as they're told (you'd think that there's no real way to mess up a simple binary toggle, but you'd be surprise.) They're small enough to set two side by side or top to bottom, they're well-made and don't feel cheap or flimsy or like they'll fall apart in the socket. The only thing I'd like is if I could turn off the status indicator LED as that little thing is BRIGHT, which is not great for a dark room at night. But a piece of electrical tape placed strategically fixes that for most such LEDs.

Tiny plug, BIG convenience upgrade 🔌✨
This smart plug was super easy to set up and connected quickly to my smart home system. Once it was running, controlling things from my phone or by voice felt effortless — lights, devices, whatever’s plugged in just works when I want it to. I love being able to schedule things to turn on/off automatically or just tell Alexa/Siri to handle it instead of getting up 😅 It responds fast, stays connected, and hasn’t given me any issues so far. It’s small enough not to block other outlets, and overall just makes everyday stuff feel a little more convenient and modern. If you’re building out a smart home or just want to automate a few things, this is an easy win.

Easy to pair. Great price. Works as they should!
I held off reviewing these as I was not sure if I was going to keep them.... I am and will also be adding more. I have revamped my home automation as some of my devices are going to be worthless in a few weeks as they are ending all services...so I wanted to make sure I bought something that was Zwave, ZigBee, or Matter... they have to be able to communicate and process locally...no reaching out to a remote server...I am done with that. I priced out a few options and decided to try the Linkind smart plugs. I use these with a Hubitat C8 Pro hub and they all paired quickly and easily with the QR code. I have now been using some of them daily . So far they have remained connected, followed commands as they should, are quick to respond, and overall work how I want them to work. I never had to use the Linkind app to get them to pair, that is what Matter is all about. Definitely would recommend.
