Seam Guide Kit Student Edition

This worked PERFECTLY for me.

Instructions were not easy to follow. Will not work on sewing machine.

The template you use to measure your seam allowance works good. The guide only stuck about a dozen times. I tried washing it (like was recommended) but it still doesn't stick well. It keeps moving.

the ruler to place guide down in place you want it (1/4, 1/2 etc) is very nice but the guide does not stick and stay in place very well.

good tool for the home sewer. It is easy to remove from the bed of the sewing machine but the sticky tape pulled off the tool the second time I tried to remove it off the sewing machine. This "tape" appears to be double sided clear tape and I doubt it will hold up to long time use.

I love the gauge but wish the sticky back on the guide pieces held on a little better. I’ve checked and there’s no lint. It sticks well to a perfectly smooth surface (like the side of a bookcase) but the slight difference between the metal plate and the plastic bed of my machine causes it to come loose after only a few minutes of use.

Ive only had this a few weeks now, but so far the sticky is still sticking, and I like the thickness of the plastic. It really keeps me aligned. At first I was concerned about only having a 4 in guide, but seems it works just fine. So glad I came across this tool.

I love this seam guide except the sticky back is not sticking to my sewing machine well.
