Revenge, forgiveness, and whatever is beyond the pain.
Extremity is a bloody and beautiful sci-fi fantasy epic. Its the story of a family, a clan, and a world town apart by cycles of hatred, and how can these cycles be broken (if they can be broken). Great art, action, story and characters. Revenge epics are very popular right now, but this takes a unique take on the trope. The story definitely gives Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind vibes. This over-sized deluxe edition is a must of your bookshelf. You will want to enjoy this story in the bigger format to really experience the epic art. The extras in the back are amazing.

Amazing read, highly recommended.
This book was an impulse buy but I'm shocked I had never heard of it before it was so freaking good. It had great pacing, excellent art and a ton of action. It's a revenge story where you see the father in the story just turn into an absolute monster by the end of the story and that gave it a lot of emotional weight. Amazing book, well worth the cost for the full collection. I'm more of a trade reader myself and this collects the full series. Absolutely great storytelling.

Great Story
Very good story. Written like the 90s with very lengthy dialog. Great story definitely 5 stars!!

Fantastic book, different cover
Absolutely loved the book. Big fan of DWJ’s new Transformers run so I decided to pick this up and I’m very glad I did. Not a long read, but a great read. Fantastic art by Mike Spicer as well. One of the stories I wish I could see and read more of, but I understand why it ended where it did. The cover does not match the photo on Amazon, but that’s not a big deal. Would recommend to anyone into sci-fi, comics, or graphic novels.

Probably one of my favorite comics
A tale of revenge and loss. How one can try and heal, focus on what is important…….or let hate and anger can consume you, destroy everyone around you.DWJ is just of a master-class writer as he is an artist. Mike Spicer’s ink work is absolutely amazing.
