Amazing!
This clothesline is amazingly tiny, compact, versatile, durable, and easy to use. My husband and I just returned from a two week bicycling tour across the Yucatan Peninsula during which limited laundry service was available. At the end of each day we hand washed both our kits (2 shorts, 2 jerseys, 4 socks, 4 gloves, 2 headbands, and 1 bra) and hung them to dry overnight on this travel clothesline. With some creativity the entire day’s worth of clothes fit on the clothesline. Some items shared 3 beads (shorts), some items shared 5 beads (socks), gloves were hung by their own Velcro straps, some items were hung on the line using hotel hangers (jerseys, bra). Each hotel room had a different configuration of possible stationary items to hang the clothesline, but most frequently we strung the clothesline between the tv wall hanging bracket and the end of the curtain rod. The clothesline itself is a rough enough material to help grip clothes without harming them. The beads slide easily over the line and barely need to touch the clothes to secure them. My guess is the reviews that mention the beads breaking may be forcing the beads against the clothes. We didn’t experience any broken beads. The little ingenious metal s-hooks at each end of the clothesline allow the line to be easily adjusted as short or as long as needed, eliminating the need to wrap the line multiple times around the stationary object. We really loved that the clothesline didn’t sag or stretch like a bungee cord clothesline would. I’m a self proclaimed nerd and really enjoyed the process of determining the most effective and efficient configuration each day. And the included pouch is adorable. Highly recommend this clothesline!

Great for travel
Love this travel clothesline. It’s come on many trips and always comes in handy. Easy to hang, very small and lightweight.

Flawed but Useful
I recommend this clothesline even though the beads are useless. Each time I took it out of the package, or stretched it out to use it, several beads would break off and fall on the floor. They had all fallen off halfway into our two week trip. However, it is very compact, the stretch cord is strong, and the end hooks are metal. It served the purpose of a compact clothesline very well. I am actually using it at home now to dry the endless loads of clothes from our trip.

Easy to use
This clothesline worked in a variety of hotel rooms across Japan and made it possible to travel with fewer clothes. Easy to use. The hooks at the end loop around anything and hook back to the clothesline, so any length of space can work. The simple beads work easily to hold shirts, pants, etc. It is lightweight and compact and makes traveling light possible.

Great Travel Gem
Will bring this clothes line on every trip! We used on our hiking trip where overnight hand washing was needed several times. Easy to use, tiny to pack, and provided us with dry clothes when laundry facilities were unavailable.

Glad I bought it
I was a little leery after reading some negative reviews but since it was inexpensive I bought it anyways. Just finished using it on a cruise and it worked great. I used 2 strong magnetic hooks at each end and attached to the cabin wall. It will standard go in my suitcase now when I travel.

Lightweight but most of the little bead “clothespins” broke all over at first use
Lightweight, stuffs into tiny bag, very good clasps. Most of the little bead “clothespins” broke and scattered all over the floor at first use.

Convenient beads on line double as clothes clips.
Really nice, compact camping clothes line - with small S-hooks pre-installed making for easy hanging by wrapping around any available trees. This could also be great as a travel clothes line for longer trips where you might need to hand wash some clothes. Super compact when stored - about the size of an apricot or small plum; it's a good length with enough strength to hang several light to mid-weight items. Don't plan to hang heavyweight wet towels or blankets - but damp beach towels and bathing suits are fine!
