Die Fläche: Design and Lettering of the Vienna Secession, 1902–1911

There was nothing to dislike about this book. I am an architect and architectural writer with a particular interest in this period. This book had a wealth of crucial material. Even if one was not especially interested in the art and design of the period this book would surely spark such an interest.

WOW!!!!!!.... What a book... if you like Secession .. GET THIS BOOK. Everyone I have shown this book too also agrees this books is fantastic. The Book was made on good paper and the facsimile colors looks great and is very comparable to the original editions. This book is worth getting.

Precioso libro que recopila trabajos realizados por el movimiento Secesión vienesa para la revista Die Fläche entre 1902 y 1911. El comienzo del libro explica la historia del movimiento y la publicación para posteriormente mostrar los facsímiles completos de los volúmenes I y II. Una auténtica joya desde el punto de vista histórico pero también por su diseño, impresión y acabados de la edición.

Absolutely beautiful book on the Vienna Secession art group, and an incredible bargain.Side note: don't let the beauty of the art make you forget that, as pointed out in the short bios of the artists at the end of the book, quite a few of these artists later joined the Nazi party or worked for them.
