Super bright and excellent value for money. I use it all the time in dim areas or when I need loads of light to work on my motorbike. Awesome for nighttime use.

Nice and bright, I wouldn’t say the battery lasts 8 hours though, I’d say 4 hours non stop use.

A pretty decent head torch but not sure it's actually 22000 lumens though, the concentration of the beam is good but not what I'd expect for high lumens rating as described. Without the equipment to test I can't confirm.But you do get plenty of lighting options, eight in total including the usual SOS mode for those pending emergencies, like when I get lost walking home from the kebab van.Once the whole thing is on your head the torch assembly can be tilted forward or backwards which is good as it means you can concentrate the light in a certain direction without having to tilt your head, but I did notice that the assembly is not held/clipped in position when you put it back up.Durability looks good, and the fact it's IPX4 rated it should be ok for underground exploration and as it's powered by rechargeable batteries you could use a powebank to recharge it again.One addition I really like is the red light on the battery pack which sits at the back of your head, this I can see being beneficial when underground or walking as team in the dark, plus you get a really nice LCD display to show the current charge state of the batteries.The price? well at under £18 I'd say it's a good price for everything you get and if it really is 22000 lumens then a real bargain.

This lighting set is a sturdy piece of kit and it seems to be very well made. It weighs just under 170 grams and is made of strong plastic. It has a front unit with 10 light sources and a rear unit with one light source. Both the front and rear units are properly screwed together, not just stuck down. Even the hinged front unit has a unscrewable hinge rather than just a simple rivet.The front and back units are connected by properly stitched elasticated straps with adjusters and these straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. There is a semi coiled electric cable connecting the two units. The front unit unit has a screwed down connection block and the rear unit has a grommet for this electric cable.The advertising detail for this unit suggests that it has the latest type LED lights for economical use. The front unit has 10 LEDs : 4 large LEDs in a diamond pattern in the centre; 4 smaller LEDs in each corner. In addition there are 2 lower powered LEDs either side of the central diamond. One button on top of the front unit enables you to cycle through the various options available. You can select various combinations including red lights and strobe effects. The front unit can be pivoted downwards and reliably holds whatever position has been set.The rear unit also has one round light which is red coloured : this can be on, off or strobe. In addition the back unit also shows a percentage figure for the amount of charge left.At maximum settings the unit is dazzlingly bright. Even with the unit pointed downwards I would not like to use this to cycle on public roads unless it was on the low ( 2 LED setting) for fear of blinding other road users. For off road cycling it would be amazingly good.I find this to be a thoroughly good product. I will be using it in all sorts of ways: crawling under the car, looking under the car bonnet, going in the loft, looking in the back of cupboards, taking the dog for a walk at night, going in the back garden at night. In fact, anywhere that you need to turn night into day.
