Omix-Ada | 12035.50 | Cup Holder, Dual | OE Reference: CH-1 | Fits 1984-1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Perfect addition for my Jeep. Previously had to mess with holding drinks between my legs or trying to shove them in between the seats and make sure they’re stable, but with these cup holders I don’t have to worry about that anymore. This will fit most drinks fine, for example a large drink from McDonald’s will fit snug and not move but anything larger or taller won’t fit or will tip over. I do wish the cup holders were deeper but for what it is and for the price it holds up just fine for me.

I put this in my 1986 AMC Jeep Cherokee Pioneer, I love it!! There are no cup holders in the vehicle factory, so this is definitely an improvement and it fits perfectly. If you’re someone who likes to drive crazy and skkrttt skkrrttt maybe it’s not for you because it does make it difficult to utilize the E Brake. However you could cut out the middle portion as someone else in the reviews did, and you’d still be able to use the cup holders. You could even cut the outer edges off and make it thin enough to fit in the center console if you have lost your center console lid like I did. I like it though, it improves my life just how it is.

Did not fit 95 cherokee country

The good: This product has a good build quality, the plastic feels sturdy and doe not feel cheaply made. The bad: As made evident by the pictures above, the cup holder does not hold anything very well. My drink came completely out of the cup holder and spilled in my jeep after a slightly ubrupt stop. It holds cans and smaller cups alright but there is still a gap. A gap is not an issue with normal cup holders, however, since these are so shallow the inertia of whatever is in the cup holder often times causes cans ans cups to fall out. A way to improve this design would be to make them deeper, and slightly wider at the top as they do not fit some of the larger sized cups.

It's a good product if you don't need a huge drink; coffee cups and soda cans work best. If you drive a stick shift, or work on your XJ often (if you own an XJ you surely work on it often), it can be difficult to engage the hand brake. The colour matched and it reuses the two screws that are already there, very simple to install. Overall, it's a lot better than nothing and that's something.

This cup holder is EXACTLY what I needed! It fits great in my jeep Cherokee Laredo. There is still room for the emergency brake so I don’t get why some reviews are saying that it doesn’t fit right cause it fits great. I recommend this for anyone who needs cup holders Although I'm a reviewer here I purchased this item at full retail price as a PERSONAL purchase and am reviewing this because I want to. Takes up a ton of room in between the seats while blocking the majority of the E-brake. Like, to the point where it's nearly impossible to deploy the e-brake, because you can't get your entire hand around it when this is installed. It sits forward at an angle that is ridiculous, while claiming to take up a "small footprint", because the "TOP" part of it is small-ish. Reality? Look at your Cherokee, open the center glove box, look down -- the two black screws that are holding the plastic on either side of the "latch" that clicks and latches the center box closed? Those will match the "tabs" in the picture. Then the "drink holder" will sit forward EIGHT INCHES over your emergency break. You will have roughly 2-3 inches left of the actual break itself, including the "button" on the end which you have to press down a full 3/4" of an inch to actually release the handle to deploy the break. Congratulations, you have officially covered and semi-permanently blocked your ability to use your emergency break in, you know, emergencies. The good news is, this is very solid ABS plastic, so --- it won't break, even if left in the boiling hot sun, in the Jeep. So, if an emergency does happen --- don't even dream of being able to snap it off to reach that E-Brake. Oy-vey, this was NOT a well designed aftermarket.... Trust me, remove the lid to your glove box, take it to your shop, dremel the drink holder size you want, seal the work with liquid TPE that matches, or hot melt (or re-cover the piece in liquid rubber, for all that if you want it to look new-ish) -- and have your own custom piece. Done.

It installs just fine, it's good quality, but it's basically useless because it isn't very deep and doesn't fit my coffee mug. Holds a beer can, so...yay.

Great fit and the holders are wide and deep to use with many types of glasses. The only negative is it needed to be a bit wider when you put two cups in say from a coffee shop they are pushed together.

I have a 1987 Jeep Cherokee and it fits perfect. Only good for cans, and smaller bottom cups though.

Not the most ideal for me, as my Jeep Cherokee XJ is a manual trans, so I really only use the passenger side cup holder. But, it's definitely better than nothing! Still holds drinks fine. Warning to others though, make sure to adjust your e-brake if the handle pulls up super far. I pulled mine up and broke the cupholder off and part of the center console latch...whoops. So just a warning to save someone the trouble of having that happen haha.
