In the past I wore black, men's braces. Thats all I could find in the store. This one is so much better. The knee pad fits perfectly around my knee. It has an extra pannel that fits around the back of your knee. This panel stops the bace from sliding down. I was always pulling up the braces made for men. It has a nice, light color. You can wear it under light colored pants. It is not as bulky as the men's. This may not sound important but it is. It is pretty. It's bad enough if you have to wear a brace in the first place,. who wants to wear something that is ugly. Thanks so much for making it. It's support allows me to be more active.😀

Let's start by saying it has straps that you can adjust to fit your knee area. I've sent back several other bands back because they never fit right, too loose, too big, or slowly sliding down. I have IT, and this support provides medium support as stated, and it's comfortable, plus there's an extra piece of interior stretch fabric that holds the support snuggly around your knee area. I do wish they made it with a bit more support, but so far it's doing the job well, I can stand without pain... :)

If your knee twists, the best and only thing that will work is the complicated SERF brace (and lots of physical therapy...and better shoes). But since I saw that this new one has a "twist" like setup, I bought it to see if it was moderately helpful. It seems to be ok- mildly helpful, though not enough for my significant knee issues, but may keep pain away slightly longer- and given that you can adjust it, it is better than most one-size-fits all knee braces. This brand is generally pretty smart, selling the best wrist braces I've ever used, so it is worth consideration over other options and brands.

I have had two knee replacements - with the left being the most recent as of March 2016. In a replacement, the real knee cap is kept and used over the prosthetic. The knee cap is supposed to sit right in front of your knee. For some reason mine has slipped a little to the right with some fluid build up to the left of the knee cap. Most knee supports are too cumbersome to wear and are not made for a woman's leg. This is specially made for the curves of a woman's leg. My husband saw this and bought it for me. It is light weight and gives the support I need while still allowing me to exercise and bend the knee. I am small and this still fits tight enough but does not feel like it is cutting off circulation like a lot of supports do.It also has a slim look that goes under pants and leggings. I recently went to a Christmas dinner with my husband for his work and I wore black tights and the support was hardly noticeable. I would highly recommend this product to any woman needing a knee support without feeling like she is wearing a bulky uncomfortable stock support like most out there.
