Worth the Cost
For cars over 90K miles, a can of this every 12K could be the difference between oil leaks from seals at 120K or 250K. Many "high-mileage" oils contain moly but not this much.

Trust Liqui Moly!
I would highly recommend anything made by Liqui Moly. I’ve only had this in my car for just over two weeks now, so I can’t do a full review just yet, but I trust their description on it because they’re such a great company with awesome products. Thank you, Liqui Moly!

Skeptical at first, but it worked over time.
I have an Audi A4 b8.5 that was leaking a lot of oil needing an oil change after just 1500 miles. It was subtle at first to where you wouldn't notice, but over time it started leaking puddles of oil 7-8 inches in diameter. So when I checked underneath the car, I noticed that it was leaking where the oil pan gasket is. Then I remembered my mechanic friend telling me about this Liqui Moly stuff and how he uses it on oil changes for cars that have high mileage with worn out seals. I took his advice bought some and used it when I did my oil change. I did 4.6 QTS of 05-30w Valvoline HM oil with a mixture of LM Oil Saver. Drove it around for about 30 miles, and overnight I noticed the puddle was now smaller around 3-4 inches instead of the 7-8 inches in diameter it usually is. The oil leak remained that way for a couple of weeks, it lessened but didn't stop it completely, it was still consistently leaking oil 3-4 inches in diameter. However once I hit the 700 mile mark, boy I was surprised, the leaks have lessened significantly to the point where my garage was mostly dry now. To this day it is holding oil quite nicely.I definitely recommend this to someone looking for a temporary fix, but just know it takes 500 miles or even more according to my mechanic friend for the seal to take full effect.

Liqui Moly Ol-Verlust Oil Exhaust Soot Stop
I recently decided to try Liqui Moly Ol-Verlust Oil Soot Stop, a product from Germany that promises to reduce oil soot buildup in the engine. Full disclosure: it took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, but I was eager to test it out once it showed up.I already had a 5w-40 Castrol oil mix in my car, and it was a little less than half full. The Liqui Moly product, manufactured on October 1st, 2023, had been sitting on a shelf for over a year. Even so, I decided to give it a try. Following the directions, I simply poured it straight into the existing oil mixture.Update (After 300-400 Miles):After the initial mileage passed, adding extra oil every 2 weeks, decreased to 3 weeks.Previous Note: I will drive my Audi A4 B8 for 300-400 miles and update the review to see if it has helped burn less oil, which these turbo engines tend to do after 60k mileage.

2011 BMW 328i
About 80K on my 2011 BMW 328i convertible. I was getting the typical valve cover oil leak: smoking from the engine compartment and burning oil smell (from dripping onto exhaust) upon starting in the morning, and intermittently while driving. Added the Liqui Moly Oil Saver and drove normally. After about 3 weeks and over 500 miles it did not seem to be doing much for the oil leakage, but the car ran more smoothly and I noticed the oil temperature (by the dashboard gauge) was running lower than before. Then after a subsequent 250 mile round trip the leakage stopped completely. No more seepage, oil fumes, or burning smell. I was really surprised, as I was expecting to have to replace the valve cover gasket and possibly the entire valve cover which is an expensive job. My advice is to be patient with this; it does work, but you need to give it time. As stated it took about 800 miles to work for me. I would recommend taking a fairly long highway trip if possible after a bit because that seemed to make the difference in my car.

Review starting at day one..
First I'll preface this by saying that I'm starting the rating of this at 3 stars not because I don't like it, but because I feel it's a good baseline. I am going to update this review over the course of the next few weeks until I do or don't see what I think is the end result after operating my Jeep for the suggested amount of time by Liqui Moly's instructions. I've used a couple other Liqui Moly products in the past like their gas additives and valve cleaners all with decent results. So trying this Engine Oil Saver to possibly save me a hefty repair bill in the short term seems like a no brainer. I have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L with around 140k on it. It is a very well cared for jeep and always garaged. In the last week or so I've been smelling some burning oil and a little smoke coming off the exhaust manifold into the cabin which of course stinks. It has not allowed me to run my heater and fans so time for a fix. Took it to my mechanic and he's pretty sure the valve cover gasket is leaking on to it causing the smoke. There is also a possible oil cooler leak inside (common Jeep GC problem) which brings up the repairs cost significantly. I also have had a very slow leak around the front engine seal next to the alternator for a while now. I'm not concerned about that one but hoping this stuff might just bandaid that too. Both of my known leaks seem very slow and do not make it to the garage floor, yet. While no mechanic is going to recommend an additive like Liqui Moly for obvious reasons, I told him I may try it as a temporary solution until I got some money together for a proper repair. I went ahead and asked if it would damage anything. He quickly said, no, and admitted to using similar products on his vehicles in the past between repairs. So that brings me to yesterday. I had just recently changed my oil so aside from having to drain out a little to use this Liqui Moly Engine Oil Saver, it's as easy as just pouring it in. I topped off my oil afterwords to right in the middle of the "safe" zone on the dipstick and immediately went for a drive for roughly 1 hour. That's all the time I had and did not expect miraculous early results but checked under the hood right when I got back. Still smoking but no surprise there. Liqui Moly recommends at least a couple hundred miles to see results. For my leak being the valve cover gasket which is right at the top of where oil circulates, I expect it will take time to get up there and work itself into the gasket if its going to work at all. This review will be updated about every 100 miles of driving which for me is about once per. Bottom line is, if you plan on keeping your leaky vehicle and can afford a proper repair, just get it done asap. I feel regardless of the results with this Engine Oil Saver it is never intended as a permanent solution. When money is tight, and when isn't it, these products are potentially a good stop gap. Guess I'll find out!
