This really felt like having a treat! Really liked the thick chewy texture and consistency overall. Sugar per bar isn’t that bad , gives it a natural flavor and taste (I’ve had sugar free bars that taste too artificial for my liking) Pretty good value for a vegan bar for a pack. Pretty filling snack , great to keep in purse for on the go at the gym or if I need a little pick me up after the gym. Overall enjoyed the brownie flavor and can’t wait to try the others down the road .

I purchased this protein bar because I like to get different kinds of protein for different amino acid profiles. I have tried many protein bars and most vegan bars are not great, but this one actually tastes good. I've eaten a lot of different kinds of these bars and while most are palatable I don't think I've come across one that I've really enjoyed. This one is actually pretty darn good. Not the best protein bar I've ever had, but 100% the best vegan bar I have had. I've never tried these before so I can't comment on how they used to taste vs how they taste now. Maybe they were better before, but they're still pretty good now. Also I noticed a lot of comments complaining about mold on the bars. While my bars were free of any "mold" I'm almost certain that they're referring to chocolate bloom which isn't mold and does not effect the taste or safety in eating it only the appearance. Overall 10/10 vegan bar. It's really good.

These bars are kind of melty (they melt easily) and not my favorite flavor. They are definitely good as a high quality meal replacement, lots of protein and low on the sugar, with no fake sweeteners that might harm your health.

Well, this is about as good as it gets when it comes to vegan protein bars. Now I want to try the other flavors like cookie dough because brownie batter knocked it out of the park in the flavor department. Seriously, they're more like candy than a health food. Texture is dense and chewy and kinda reminds me of a soft charleston chew. I'm eating too many and I'm gonna run out soon because I'm eating them like candy, not health food. I'm definitely ordering more when I run out, and I'm also gonna try the other flavors because these were really good. You won't be disappointed with these, I guarantee it.

I don't write many reviews but I had to on this one. Through the years I have purchased $1000's worth of these bars from Amazon, other retailers and the company directly. I would eat 3-4 bars a day for meals. The company would have quality issues from time to time which is expected for a small business. I was good with those issues like some bars not being sealed, mold on some bars, and some packages missing half the bar. But when they changed the formula, I could not even finish the first bar and I bought 12 boxes. I donated them to a homeless shelter. I sent feedback to Alice Benedetto Founder and CEO of Raw Rev as well hoping they would go back to the original formula. I searched for the perfect bar with everything I wanted in it and that tasted great. I found it in Raw Rev Bars but then they changed the formula and now they taste just like the other chalky, plastic, bad after tasting protein bars out there. I am very disappointed. I have been searching for a new healthy, great tasting, protein bar.

These are pretty much like a chocolate cashew jerky with a weird aftertaste. The main list of ingredients doesn’t list cashews as an ingredient but it does say under ingredients that it contains cashews and may contain milk(not sure if that makes it non vegan). The taste is good but the aftertaste not so much, its almost chalky. My youngest son loves them(hence the half empty box)while my oldest review was”its not great but if it was the only snack in the house i would eat it”. I lean more towards my oldest son just because of the texture and aftertaste. I could deal with one or the other but both makes it pretty blah for me. I wouldn’t mind trying other flavors if they don’t have the same texture aftertaste issue.

I wrote a review before voicing that these have been my favorite bars for years, and I was very skeptical about a formula change. While the new flavors are different, there are pros and cons. Pros: Softer Yummy flavor, Stevia sweetener tastes fine Taste is fresher, softer Possible Cons/Neutral Changes: No more coconut oil, it is vegetable glycerin Choc chips have changed but are still soft No more chia and flax seeds, but the flax protein is good Over all, now that I have tried them, I can fit these in my daily routine. The peanut butter flavors are to die for. The chocolate and birthday cake - I wish they did not have natural flavors. Decide for yourself, but for my money, these are still easy to digest and the best quality out there.
