Great product for medical students or staff.

I bought this for work and was very satisfied with it. To be honest it’s a pen light, there usually isn’t a whole lot to say about them. I bought this specific one because it was pink and had a push button. Previous button pen lights I have bought I accidentally hit the button without realizing it, then they would turn on and the battery drains. I liked that this one didn’t do that and I rarely accidentally turned it on. What I didn’t like was that the clip on the pen was very loose and the pen would easily catch on something and fall out of my pocket (EMS pants, so pen was in the side pocket). Case in point this happened and I lost the pen a few months ago and didn’t think much of it….until today when I found it in the snow bank in my backyard. I lost it a good three months ago and we have gotten a TON of snow this winter. ITS STILL WORKS! I’m shocked and very impressed. So 4/5 stars for th quality of the penlight itself, it’s clearly very sturdy. I take away one star because the loose clip is still annoying.

They work as expected. So far dependable with a nice bright beam battery lasts a long time. Fits good in short pocket and price is right. Would buy again

I bought this penlight for work, and while it is incredibly bright, it is honestly too bright for a pupil assessment. The light is harshly bright, and I would not recommend it for direct eye checks. The body feels sturdy and well-made. Both the black and silver pens look sleek and professional. The clip is strong and attaches securely to pockets without slipping. Function-wise, they turn on easily and stay consistent with no flickering. They are lightweight and comfortable to hold, the pens are slim enough to carry around without noticing them. They are reliable for general lighting needs, like checking throats or looking into small spaces, but again, not the best for neuro checks because of the intensity. The black and silver finishes look nice, and the matte surface helps with grip, so they do not feel slippery. The etched pupil gauge is handy as a quick reference, though I wish the printing were a little clearer. Wipes down easily with alcohol or sanitizing wipes, which is necessary in a healthcare setting. No issues with smudges or scratches so far. If you need a penlight that is bright, durable, and multipurpose, this works great. But for actual pupil checks, I would recommend going with a dimmer light that is designed for neuro assessments. This feels more like a mini flashlight than a true medical penlight.

I was very impressed with these penlights. Through work I have used multiple plastic penlights which have ended up in the bin after a few uses but with these being made from metal, they are more durable, especially the metal clip. It can add up when you're trying to find a reliable penlight but I have had no issues so far. They are very bright, the clip rotates as well as they come with 2 sets of extra batteries. It was definitely worth spending the few extra dollars - would recommend this penlight for anyone working in health or in the medical field.
