Small but functional backpack
Wanted a small daily backpack. This is lightweight and carries a lot of stuff. Great for the airplane too.

Great for short hikes
This is the perfect backpack for day hikes. I’ve used it to carry a couple bottles of water, snacks, clothing, etc. It’s light, comfortable and keeps your back/shoulders from hurting. Truly the perfect size for short hikes.

Great Brand, Great Pack
Bought for my wife. She had a bigger sized day pack and this was a perfect downsize. Big enough to carry a days supplies and water bottles. She loved the girly color so I dont steal it too...

Quality backpack
Just the right size for carry-on fits right under the seat. For day use on a hike you can fit a bottle of wine with snacks.

Qualifications
I can't help but factor the relatively high cost of this product into my review. For $40 I'd be thrilled. But for what I paid:It's quite small. I also own the big boy version of this one, a 26 liter Osprey with similar design, and it's a "real" backpack, to hold stuff for 2 people and a dog.But everything about the Daylite is downsized. Even the straps are smaller, in width and length, which surprised me. I guess the idea is that you will be carrying less weight, so why would you want comfortable straps. I even started to look to see if I had been duped into buying a child's pack.Well here's the revised part of the review: It works. I took it for a 2 hour spin up Cadillac and back, and it performed well. I was able to stuff one sandwich, snack, a rolled raincoat, and a bottle of water. The thinner shoulder straps worked. The new airflow system on the back worked, and in fact, the thinner width of the pack allowed much more cooling air to hit my back than my larger pack would have. The sternum strap worked fine, and was properly adjustable. The fabric and stitching quality was fine, and there are ample pockets. The side bottle pockets are a bit of a bother as they (on my old Osprey) lose their elastic, and really demand a longer bottle so you can also use the upper retaining strap. But you are going to have to tell your wife to pound sand when she comes around to have you carry her stuff. And that brings me back to the price (?) Seems a bit high for a small pack, but no doubt it will last a long time.

Cute, versatile and heavy duty!
This bag is so versatile! For the price, I'd do it again! I use it for skiing hiking and its been holding up pretty well. The color isnt very common so you can be easily spotted in a pile of bags!

Excellent item. Very durable & would purchase again. The side pockets fit my 40 ounce Stanley & Yeti cups. Great for everyday use.
