Not bad at all
This is the first time I've ever eaten a First Strike Ration, and I've only come to know the existence of such a ration from the user known as Steve1989 on YouTube from his ration reviews. The ration that I have received was menu #4.Judging by the date, this ration was manufactured in Feb 2019, and would expire approximately sometime in 2021, depending on the temperature and storage conditions. I believe I had a very wide variety a food choices in my purchase. I separated my ration as follows:Breakfast:Coffee w/creamer & sugar packet (comes with 1 sugar, 2 would have been better)Multigrain snack bread w/jalapeno cheese spread (the bread was quite tasty with a hint of sweetness)Turkey nuggets (it takes a good few bites to bust them apart, but the turkey meat was a bit smoky & delicious, also double wrapped for freshness)Cinnamon bun (in the shape of a pastry, poofy, smooth, soft and very flavorful)Lunch:Cheddar pretzels (essentially, they are combos cheese filled pretzel snack)Raisins (fresh and delicious)Mexican style wrap (shelf stable burrito, not too bad, used with hot sauce, it had a kick to it)Orange base beverage mix (I added too much water, but it was like a less sweet version of Tang mix)Dinner:BBQ chicken breast (yes, an actual cooked grilled chicken breast with bbq sauce, and amazingly fresh & tender)Peanut butter dessert bar (the peanut butter tastes like a reduced sugar peanut butter filling from the Reese's pieces candy)Fruit punch base beverage mix (smells & tastes like Kool aid)As the title states, you'll notice the 3X on the description, although some people might find it misleading, with the amount of product that is inside of the FSR, technically speaking, it is 3 meals in one FSR, as it is a 24hr ration. I had decided to consume the ration today to see how my body would react to the food contents, and in my opinion, the ration has satisfied my hunger throughout the day, and yes, no lie, the only thing I have had to eat today was only this ration so I could give my best personal review on this product. Although long-term consumption probably isn't healthy because of the high carbohydrate content, I would highly recommend these meals for emergency situations, camping trips and for someone always on the go. Primarily, these are designed for use by US military personnel (than you for all you do) as they are continuously on the move. I hope they enjoy these meals as much as I did today.

Fresh Ration - As advertised
I purchased a quantity of 3 FSRs. They all arrived as advertised. Manufacturing dates were all less than 1 year... Standard MRE food items, the most important thing is that they're very recent manufacture. I'd definitely purchase again..

Its a bit expensive for what you get.
And the lack of menu choice is a bummer. Also, poor shipping in a pouch... thus ensuring the cracker, etc are broken. (But not opened)

Meh.
The posting for this product is misleading. It’s not three meals. It’s a 24 hour pack and honestly it wasn’t great. I would have returned it if my husband hadn’t already ripped it open. It was for him. Don’t waste your money.

A portlable, packable ration for under $30.00.
First of all I'm glad these rations are available to the general public. It's a huge portable ration that about 12-13 years ago you couldn't get unless you were in the military and even then if one was available for sale it was extremely expensive. These carry the same ration components as a regular MRE, its just that there are more snack type parts in this ration, than say if you had a normal MRE.The dates codes on these are pretty current, mine was dated the 124 day of 2022 (May 4, 2022). I tend to like these just because I'm traveling on the road a lot and these are easy: kind of rip, zip and eat. And these are made by a manufacturer that makes and produces MRE's under contract for the military and other government organizations, so your getting a real deal here. The only thing that was a bit of a put off was the fact that, twice now, when I have ordered these rations they, have come with ration parts that look like someone just threw some stuff in there and some parts looked like they were mashed up. I'm sure if the parts got mashed during transit that could be a minor thing or this could be a simple OA/OQ discrepancy; not sure, otherwise everything was neatly packaged when I received it.If your in the market for a portable, packaged food ration that doesn't cost a lot of money then this is it.

It is what it is
If you're purchasing the MREs you already know what they are you already know what they're about and you already know that the seller can't do anything about the contents being made or whatever you want to call it if you don't like the food it's not their fault they literally just buy the products sell their product to add up charge so they can make some money and then ship it out how can you rate that you can't. And if you're thinking about buying one of these without doing any form of research, look it up or you will be shocked. it's not your can of SpaghettiOs is not your frozen dinners, it's an MRE it's completely different. I'm sure not the only person who buys these because of those YouTube videos where they test these things out when you were curious too. Emmymade was who I watched, I have tried almost all of them, some were surprisingly good and some my dogs wouldn't even eat and I feel horrible for the men and woman who have to eat it to survive. Pizza is not the hype though, the pizza was not good, I don't understand why people like it. The prices are horrible on Amazon way expensive it's cheaper for me to drive to the next city over and purchase them but unfortunately I don't have a car right now so oh well.

It’s okay, but expensive for one
I bought this on sale for I think $15, great purchase for $15, however now that it’s back to $30 for one, I will not be buying it again. I’ll just buy a case of regular MRES for double the price but at least I get 12 MRES instead of just one, even though it’s big.
