This thing has far exceeded my expectations. It works every time which automatic stuff usually doesn’t and I’ve had it for almost a year now and I haven’t had to replace the batteries even. And it looks so cute and is the perfect size for a bathroom or office trash can!

Looks great, works great. Motion sensor opens lid when you need it to open, stays shut and keeps unsightly trash out of sight the rest of the time. Came with some bonus bags for lining the can. An internal bag ring holds bags in place without the need to have unsightly bag edges folded over the receptacle. Clever.

Good size and the lid works well when it worked. The batteries die pretty often, and after exactly 1 year, it just stopped working even with new batteries. The light still blinks red or green, and I hear the motor try to work, but the lid doesn't work. I guess I got 1 year use out of it for $25, so I will give it a 3 out of 5.
