Great Board & Beginner Friendly!
This is my first paddle board and I couldn't be happier. I've used this for one season and it's now my favorite watercraft. The 3 fins make the board very stable when standing; I've taken it out numerous times and haven't fallen (yet). I've used it with my dog and even with two kids sleeping on it. I am able to easily maneuver around logs, family members, and other obstacles.I love that I can swap to the dual paddles easily when I want to sit on the board. I used to kayak before I got it, so having that option makes it very versatile and I love not having to do the "paddle flip" like you would with a one-paddle handle. It holds its air very well - we left it inflated for an 8-day camp trip and never had to top it off. Pumping it up can be tiring (I call it my pre-paddle board workout) and can take a bit: I plan to get an electric pump this summer. But it is doable by hand. There are so many bungee straps for storage, which is a great feature and very handy when you're planning to be out for longer trips on the water and have lots of gear. The carry bag is great and I appreciate that it fits everything for easy travel. With 5 in our family plus a fur baby, we have a lot of gear when we're out on the water. The bag makes set-up easy and I don't need to worry about leaving something behind for myself when I'm focused on getting everyone else out the door.I have also received multiple compliments about the color; the purple hues are beautiful! It's also pretty easy to keep clean - before packing it up for longer periods of time I always use some soapy water, a rag, and a magic eraser to remove any scuffs or dirt marks, and it looks like new.Just a few things to consider if you haven't tried paddle boarding before:1) Don't go over shallow objects like logs, they'll catch on the large fin and it's hard to keep your balance! I've seen people fall in when this happens. (Always a good chuckle, but not fun when you don't want to get wet).2) Paddle boards are inherently harder to maneuver than a kayak. You can't turn as sharp or as quickly. I use my paddle board almost exclusively, but I still pick my kayak when I know we'll be in faster waters or currents that require more precise maneuvering, especially when I'll be going upstream against the current.3) The hardest part of standing on a paddle board is getting up (and down). Plant your feet at the widest part of the board and keep your feet spread apart for better balance.Ultimately, if you're looking for a stable, fun, beginner-safe board... this is the board for you!

Absolutely Perfect for My 12-Year-Old — Easy, Fun, and Lake-Ready!
We bought the Roc Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board (10'6") for our 12-year-old son, and it has completely exceeded our expectations. We’ve been using it up in Lake Geneva, WI, and it’s been an absolute hit with our family.Right out of the box, it was super easy to inflate — no confusion, no fuss. My son was out on the water in no time. The wide, stable design is perfect for beginners (and parents who are watching from shore!) — it gave him the confidence to stand up and paddle like a pro on his very first try. The non-slip deck feels sturdy and safe, even when the board gets a little wet.We especially appreciate how easy it is to deflate and roll back up. It fits right into the included bag with no struggle, and everything stores neatly and compactly. It’s lightweight enough for us to carry down to the lake without a problem. The included accessories are top quality, especially the paddle — solid, adjustable, and well-made. Honestly, this paddleboard has brought so much joy to our lake days, and it’s great knowing that my son is using something that’s both fun and safe.Highly recommend for kids, teens, and adults alike. Whether you’re just getting started or already experienced, this board is a fantastic investment in fun, fitness, and time outdoors.

Better quality than expected!
See the bottom for update* I have not taken this out on the water yet because I bought one for myself and another for my girlfriend for Christmas. But I took both of them out of the package inflated them by hand using the pump and then packed hers up perfectly in the box waiting for Christmas day. I packed mine in the bag along with the accessories. The bag actually seems like it will last a while and had plenty of room for all the accessories. But let's talk about the pump and the board itself. The pump works well, and the board seems like it is inflated before it hits 5 PSI. But once filled above 10 and closer to 14 or 15 psi this board is Rock solid. The valve is robust and the grip is nice and the handles seem sturdy. I was blown away by the quality and construction and surprised by the thickness of the material. Pro tip on hand inflation: switch from dual action to single action around 10 psi or whenever pulling up gets too difficult. You can still inflate it quickly in single action mode and you will save your arms. Inflating two of these before an hour or more of paddling might be more effort than most people would want to endure. An electric pump might be slower but is definitely something I will invest in. I would also recommend using the pump to deflate it so that you can get all the air out and roll it up nicely. I reached out through Instagram to roc and they walked me through questions I had about the pump. Customer service is great, and I can't say enough about the quality of construction. I'm really glad I went with ROC. There are many other brands out there but I can't believe the quality and value for the price. Not to mention there are so many YouTube videos and positive reviews about roc, I didn't want to take a chance on some other random brand. I promise to write another review or update this review after I take the paddle board out on the water.*Update - we went out to Marina del Rey. I pumped this one up by hand and we used an electric pump for the other one. We had an awesome time on the water. The board was sturdy and I found it pretty easy to balance as a newbie. The board rolls back up easily, I recommend using the pump to deflate it to get it completely flat. Rinsing it off is a must. There is a board rental place that let me use their hose, but I'm thinking about investing in some type of camping shower hose for when that's not an option. I'm really glad I went with ROC because there seems to be a big community around the brand and the support is great.
