GAKA 12 Inch Cake Stand, Round Wooden Cake Display Stand for Party Dessert Table Decorations

I have owned a catering and event planning company for almost 20 years and I was so excited to get this cake stand because it reminded me of a bourbon barrel, but upon receiving it I am a little less so. The wood top is rough in spots, but my main issue is the plate wobbles on the stand- it doesn’t not sit level. (I tested it on several surfaces- I just sat in on top of the box to get the photo.) The plate just sits on top of the stand and does not actually attach in any way and it wobbles so it you use this to serve directly off it will be noticeable. This might work to use a riser with another larger tray on top, but as is I would not use as a cake or mini dessert stand.
