As simple and unobtrusive as a timer can get
I originally purchased one for a high schooler who has ADHD-inattentive, which causes them to lose track of time. They had tried several timers, plus timers on the phone and apple watch, but all of the other timers had two issues: a) it takes too long to set the timer up for a new time, and b) there's always a countdown that causes stress and brings attention away from the task at hand if you look at the timer. This timer solves both issues! To set it, press the button and rotate the time to the top. Half a second to a second. And it just sits there, no countdown, nothing moving or flashing, just a blue LED on one corner to let you know it's on. When it does go off, it's either a beep, a beep + vibrate, or vibrate-only, your choice. 45 minutes working, ten minutes off, repeat the cycle, almost no attention spent on the timer itself. Perfect.I've purchased one for myself for the same reasons, mostly when doing multiple sets of exercises at home where it's easy to get sidetracked into taking a 45-minute break between circuits instead of a ten-minute break. I'll just look at that on email... Since circuits on different days are different lengths with different breaks, this makes it really easy to stay on track, without investing effort or attention to staying on track.

Coolest Gadget
This is the coolest gadget. I like that it’s not digital because it keeps me from always looking at how much time is left. It’s so easy to use; just turn it on, pick a time, and set it down. I like the vibration alarm because it’s quiet and you can hear/feel it vibrate. It seems to hold its charge.

Almost 5 stars!
I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1) the white on white numbers make them a little but hard to read; 2) it doesn't have the countdown times to let you know how much longer you have on your timer - that said this little thing is phenomenal! Flip it and it goes! It's small and unobtrusive and simple. I was bummed that it said you had to fully charge before using ( i was able to try it immediately) but it took less than 10 minutes for it to be fully charged! The cord is very short at about" and comes with no block so you need a USB port or a block to charge it. I like that it has 3 modes to choose from to accommodate the level of distractibility in any given moment. I am an adult with severe adhd and needed something simple that would not distract me - this seems to be doing the trick...so my 2 cons could also be seen as pros as their presence could potentially be distracting as well. Like how colors or movement can pull your eyes from your task

Great for distracted people
So... I get distracted easily... This sits on my kitchen table (which is also where I use my laptop). I use it a dozen times a day. I LOVE that you only have to rotate it to start and stop it. No buttons to push. Perfect selection of time choices in my opinion. Great for making the most of that 'few minutes' while cooking, waiting for laundry, or closing in on an ebay bid. Got one for my ADHD kid who is 'time blind'. Figure it will help with keeping focused in short bursts. Only complaint is that the numbers don't stand out boldly. I plan to use a marker and color them in. But, no color helps it not be a distraction itself when sitting right next to you. Everyone who has seen it asks for the link to buy one -- gamers, ADHD-ers, autistics, distracted menopausal ladies, moms of youngin's, and more. Where was this little magic thing for the last 30 years? I could have been so much more productive back then!! Oh, BTW, I thought it would need charging with as much as I had used it 4 weeks. Plugged it in and it was fully charged in about 15 min -- so that means it had used less than 25% of its battery in 4 weeks of using it 10-15 times daily. Long battery life!! (I do not use the vibrate setting, so no comment about that) Already considering buying a third for another area of the house. Wish they had more color choices....Addendum: Added a picture of the 'floral white' on a piece of white paper. Not white.... not cream either - but somewhere between the two. Eggshell perhaps is a better description.

Nearly perfect! Exactly as described
It works perfectly, and very intuitively. It is silent (no rattling) except for beeping, if you've set it to beep.I used a permanent marker and inked in the numbers to make it clearer; since the numbers are indented, this is easy to do a flawless job on. (I'm happy doing that myself, because not everyone would want the numbers inked in, and I got to choose the color).I have ordered a second one (in rose pink) because I'm so happy with this one that I want one for my office.Suggested improvements: Have more than the one LED. It really needs 4 or 5 LEDs so that one is always facing you no matter how it is flipped or rotated. The LED is also brighter than it needs to be to show the timer is on; dim for "running" and flashing bright for notification would be nice. But these are nitpicks! I usually use it in beep or vibrate mode.

Good little timer with no distractions
I have issues with ADHD and structure and cleaning my house.I have to use a timer that IS NOT ON MY PHONE! Otherwise my cleaning times will be punctuated with an hour+ of doom scrolling my limited energy and focus away.I can't use apps to help schedule my time because of the same reason. My phone is my enemy. The timer is pretty easy to use. I bought the yellow one so that I can easily spot it in my clutter piles. It has helped me use my limited focus and energy by setting a 10 or 15 minute timer in each room. It's not much, but it's what I can do. I always feel so good if I can make a wee dent in the giant mess I have created. When I string these 10+ minute cleans together I can usually do all rooms in one day. Dishes don't get dangerously stacked, there are clean sheets on the bed, the bathroom is not super offensive....The timer gives me enough structure so I can be free to tackle whatever I think I can do.Also helps when I'm doing something I love but need to stop and eat at some point. Ha!
